It does beg the question of what is the appropriate response when a girl finds a naked man in the changing room, as there doesn't seem to be any possible way to distinguish a 'naked man' from a 'transwoman', nor indeed whether it is safe to be around that person's penis (common sense and practice for basically the entire world's population except those gaslit by TRAs says 'no')

I don't understand. If smear tests and period products can be just for "people with vaginas", why can't we just declare changing rooms/public toilets/sports teams as being for "people with vaginas"? It might be dehumanising but at least it would keep everyone safe

I think you have misunderstood the reason why it's so important for the TW to have access to the women's spaces. And I'm not saying it's for predatory reasons - they need it for validation. SOME may also have other reasons. That's why they don't accept the option of 3rd spaces - it's "othering".

Yes. Because the GRA is, as it always has been, a legal fiction to allow some transgender individuals live their lives more freely, free from casual discrimination.

It always stopped short of saying human beings can change sex and the issue with transmen and inheritance of titles is the most glaring example of where a GRC stops.

We need to be pointing this out, loudly and often, rather than decrying it. The law may be 'a ass' but it is usually quite clear about where the pleasantries and accommodations stop.

A GRC is a politeness, not permission to steamroll your way over anyone who disagrees with you

I think that an argument on arousal could be-

It can happen spontaneously esp when younger
There are no such obvious signs of sexual arousal with a woman
Women could be aroused and no one would notice
As it can be spontaneous it's unfair to class it as because of anything/ people actually around
Being punished for an uncontrollable natural harmless function of a male body is totally unfair when women could be aroused. I am a woman my body just behaves differently I can't help it. Discrimination.
