School girls gaslit en masse after encountering 'naked man' in swimming pool shower

www.kesq.com/news/female-water-polo-players-confronted-by-naked-man-at-palm-springs-swim-center/987276858

The girls found a naked man in the women's shower, which they objected to, describing him as a 'predator'.

The police investigated and said that actually, sorry girls, he's not a man, she's a woman, so STFU, basically.

eu.desertsun.com/story/news/2019/01/24/pool-getting-unisex-shower-formal-policy-after-teens-encounter-trans-woman/2670287002/

It does beg the question of what is the appropriate response when a girl finds a naked man in the changing room, as there doesn't seem to be any possible way to distinguish a 'naked man' from a 'transwoman', nor indeed whether it is safe to be around that person's penis (common sense and practice for basically the entire world's population except those gaslit by TRAs says 'no')

I have sick to my stomach feeling this will only end when some peadophilic creep rapes a child in a changing room/toilet and uses 'trans' as an attempted get out clause. Throwing children and genuinely gender dysphoric individuals under the bus.

GerryblewuptheER · 25/01/2019 15:54

It won't end there. TRAS throw out any nasty ones saying they arebt proper trans whilst screaming we r bigots for not taking everyone's word for it.

BlooperReel · 25/01/2019 15:58

I am actually worried for my DH, I know if my 10 yr old DD walked out of the pools female changing room or a female toilet and said Daddy there is a naked man in there, lipstick or not DH will kick the living shit out them, and guess who will be the one prosecuted...

GerryblewuptheER · 25/01/2019 16:01

Men love to do that though. Play the hero saying how they would beat seven bells out of any pervert who tried to exploit the loop hole.

But where the fuck are they right now? Why are we on our own in this.

BlooperReel · 25/01/2019 16:05

To be honest I know my DH and I can guarantee this would be his reaction, however he is not quite as aware as I am on the trans cult and all the self ID bullshit, the wider public are not either. He thinks it would never really be allowed.
They won't be until there are huge headlines where children have been abducted/assaulted/raped by someone who has exploited self id to gain access to them. It will take sensationalist headlines in the Sun, Mirror etc to get this across to ordinary working class people, particularly men.

GerryblewuptheER · 25/01/2019 16:09

Oh it would be mine too.

Except it's too little too late. If they wanted to find out stuff they could. They just don't cos it doesn't affect them and if you try to explain then " women are just as bad. NAMALT"

And as I said on another thread, is never thought about it before. But makes perfect sense. Hannah Gadsby said in her speech. How the good guys rely on the bad guys. To keep us in check and allow them to be the bad guys.

They don't want it to happen but they get to play the hero when it does so it suits them to sit back and do nothing

GerryblewuptheER · 25/01/2019 16:09

Allow them to be the good guys

BlooperReel · 25/01/2019 16:12

Yes admittedly he is very much NAMALT, except when he is calling me saying make sure I get a taxi home as it's late, don't walk, things like that. Then there are bad men everywhere...he cannot see the glaringly different attitude he has then. sigh

andyoldlabour · 25/01/2019 16:13

"Sorry what, andy? The case was heard before a tribunal."

I am not disputing that, or the fact that in my opinion it shouldn't have got that far in the first place, but the conclusion was that she was cleared, and that being the case wouldn't the other side have had to pay all her costs?

Case 68/2018

The Anti Discrimination Tribunal has given the following statement:

A has not harassed B because of sex identity or sex expression.

andyoldlabour · 25/01/2019 16:21

"But where the fuck are they right now? Why are we on our own in this."

I think that a lot of the young, "beirdy" woke ones are taking the TW's side, and many people my age are not even aware of this.
I only became aware of this three and a half months ago and I am firmly on the side of the women - real women.
There are also three, possibly four political parties who seem to be very pro transgender - Labour, Lib Dems, Greens and possibly Scottish Nationalists.
Then you add in the "trans friendly" media - BBC, Guardian, Independent.

GerryblewuptheER · 25/01/2019 16:26

Yy blooper

Dp gets worried if I'm.back late cos he knows I'm.walking home late at night on my own.

But simultaneously thinks women are just as bad and that I'm.blowimg it out of proportion..Hmm

Bowlofbabelfish · 25/01/2019 16:28

DH is of the opinion that until this affects a critical mass of people nothing will be done. I think that will need to be a critical mass of men. But he is right I think - the odd case isn’t going to do anything, it will need to be a lot of people confronted with situations they’re uncomfortable with. Which is why I think the toilets are important, because almost everyone uses public loos.

GerryblewuptheER · 25/01/2019 16:31

Aaah but what constitutes a critical mass of men?

Women aren't as much if a danger to men as other men are.

Trans men pass better alot of the time aswell so they'd not notice.

The idea that a shed load of their dds need to be assulted befire they take note is a horrific thought tbh

BettyDuMonde · 25/01/2019 16:43

I think it’ll have to start being problematic for rich mens finances before anything much changes.

We were talking about the real life problems caused by online porn the other day, and my DH, who is naturally feminist without thinking much about it or taking the label said, ‘there is no such thing as a chick-with-a-dick, just geezers with retrofitted tits’

Not exactly the language of right-on discourse, I’ll admit, but certainly less gaslighty than ‘Transwomen are women, get over it’

One of DH’s best buddies is a mtf transsexual who transitioned very young - he adores his friend and clearly has no ill-will towards ‘geezers with retrofitted tits’ he just wants everything to be properly classified for legal and safeguarding reasons, and doesn’t dick about with his choice of words (male privilege and socialisation!)

GerryblewuptheER · 25/01/2019 16:45

How would that be though?

How could this affect rich men?

BettyDuMonde · 25/01/2019 16:50

I don’t know the answer, but the April Ashley court case was a significant blow to emerging trans rights at the time, and I bet an ordinary bloke wouldn’t have gotten the sympathy of judges and media bosses that a heridatary peer did.

Maybe if transmen demanded inheritance rights we’d start to see some action at the top?

GerryblewuptheER · 25/01/2019 16:54

There's only one problem with that...

Trans men are only ever need worthy when they get pregnant...

They don't get the same clout....If only we knew why...

I've not heard of the April Ashley case...what was it

GerryblewuptheER · 25/01/2019 16:54

News worthy

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 25/01/2019 17:00

It's about dominance. Marking territory. Knowing that they can walk around with their tackle out in front of women and girls, knowing that it makes them uncomfortable and afraid must be like a drug to them. We'll see these stories more and more, along with virtue signallers saying how they showered next to a TW and it was like a super-awesome experience.

This.

Why are these people always stark naked? I have no body issues whatsoever however I realise that lots of people are either uncomfortable with nudity or in the case of kids and young people very rightly have boundaries that need respecting. So I would always cover up.

Why are these people insistent on literally waving their bits in our faces?

Lefthanddown · 25/01/2019 17:06

That's one group of girls who have learnt if men are in their changing room it's tough and don't complain because the law doesn't care. What other message regarding their personal boundaries have they internalised?

GrandmaSteglitszch · 25/01/2019 17:18

Can I-will-chop-it-off-if-I-see-it be a gender now too please

If that's how we feel then that's what we are.

GrandmaSteglitszch · 25/01/2019 17:22

A real woman who happened to have a penis would make sure to change and/or shower in such a way and at such a time that young girls wouldn't get alarmed.
She would also apologise if young girls were, in fact, alarmed.

BettyDuMonde · 25/01/2019 17:26

April Ashley court case:

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corbett_v_Corbett

BettyDuMonde · 25/01/2019 17:33

‘Arthur Corbett’ sounds pretty ordinary but not so much when you add his hereditary title, ‘3rd Baron Rowallan’.

The annulment (on the grounds that Ashley was legally a man) meant Corbett didn’t have to pay Ashley alimony, where a divorce would’ve left him right out of pocket.

GrandmaSteglitszch · 25/01/2019 17:35

possibly Scottish Nationalists
Definitely the SNP. The recent Scottish consultation started with the statement that the Scottish Government intends to bring in self-id.

There are Scottish women on the case, tho. (and a few men)
