Misgendered and violent

I know it's from the Daily Mail, but I can't find anyone else reporting on it. I've never seen a woman tell a man to "take it outside" or aggressively kick a display down because they've accidentally been called "sir"... (hope the link works).

are they even trans

Good question. The current mantra is that everyone who says they are trans is trans. If the gender recognition bill is ever passed, then that self-evidently insane belief will become law. It results in the absurdity of people being berated on Twitter for "misgendering" Ian Huntley.

I don't know if you noticed, but that is why we are all so angry.

Wordthe · 31/12/2018 11:57

I feel this incident constitutes a watershed moment
It seems more and more obvious that this aggressive trans movement is a response to the progress that has been made by women
They are just in a right old tizzy

givenupcaring · 31/12/2018 12:38

What on earth else might they be if not trans?

Sadly by current definition I supposed they are trans because they say they are.

That is not to say they are transsexual though just because they think they are. It is safe to say from the testosterone fuelled display they are unlikely to be in any form of medical transition.

There are always going to be those who co-opt a minority identity though to claim victimhood. Is what we are seeing simply a bully coopting an identity as an excuse to bully others because it makes them feel better ?

Its not possible to simply identify testosterone as the cause.

One should not assume the medical/surgical interventions that a transwoman is/isn't undertaking.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 31/12/2018 12:51

Transvestite then. Male in ‘female’ attire and accessories.

NotTerfNorCis · 31/12/2018 13:01

Lots of support for this individual from TRAs now. Two main themes:

"She must have finally exploded after a lot of provocation. I wish I had the guts to do the same! Also, the shop assistant was clearly rude."

"Transphobes are using this to attack trans people."

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 31/12/2018 13:04

yep, and the public will have already moved on.

I think it would help if the concept of autogynephilia was more widely recognised, I wonder if there is a more colloquial or less Latin sounding term for it?

Wordthe · 31/12/2018 13:16

Men understand and they understand at a very deep level that if he still has a penis he's not a woman, autogynephiliacs want to persuade us that they should be placed in the same category as female humans even though men know that they are essentially still men

If AGP's can persuade men of this then surely this constitutes a conspiracy between men and AGP men against women, the AGP is winking at the human males, 'hey lads we stitched up the girls good style'

It's not a conspiracy between men, it's a very high up push to remove safeguarding and stop certain section of society being able to reproduce by sterilising them, for example those with autism, those who are homosexual and so fourth.
The fact that it’s coming from a very high up place is the reason the media tread so carefully, the whole thing is so one sided and a lot of countries have suddenly decided all at once to implement self ID.

This will happen we can’t stop it, however if the majority of the public know what is happening they can chose not to follow along with it.

Wordthe · 31/12/2018 13:27

The AGP is not a heterosexual man though
he is an AGP man
AGP is a sexual orientation,

Wordthe · 31/12/2018 13:28

(CaptainKirk I don't disagree with you, I think I just didn't put my point across properly)

AGP is a sexual orientation

It's a paraphilia, mostly exhibited by heterosexual males.

Datun · 31/12/2018 13:34

They're attracted to themselves. As women. To the point of love/obsession. I guess you could call it a sexual orientation. But that sounds a little bit too 'it's legitimate and therefore needs rights' to me.

They want to have sex with women with their 'lady dicks'

Yes, I agree. I've just had to think about what sexual orientation, means. Explicitly. And it's the sex to which you are attracted. (Not the sex you like to think of yourself as.)

Vegilante · 31/12/2018 13:54

On trans Twitter one poster said, My (cis) womanhood is rarely docile or pretty because fuck that! Let's stop holding our trans sisters to inane, backward, and completely made up standards

WTF? Trans women shouldn't be held to the same rules & customs of decorum, manners, etiquette, kindness, consideration & good behaviour towards others that the rest us all follow? Are these "inane, backwards" standards too high for trans women to reach? Or do they get to behave however badly they want wherever & whenever they want simply because they're men?

There is no excuse for this large, threatening male person's menacing, abusive behaviour. And all the people defending it/him offer no arguments whatsoever explaining why he should get a pass. They just say we're mean & evil & call us names.
