Absolutely. And there is sexual harassment. Exposing the female residents (& some men) to porn or prostitution could leave them feeling really unsafe in their own home.
This is coming from the sex industry trying to rebrand commercial sexual exploitation as 'therapy', the pimps as 'agents', the prostituted as 'therapists' and the punters as 'harmless', 'powerless' 'patients'. This is not the first time.
Catherine Stephens who was (is?) a main player for the IUSW - speaking over all the others at all discussions about prostitution was (is?) an agent for sending prostituted women to disabled men. That is where she got (gets?) her income. It also is the launchpad for the narratives of the prostituted being in control as they provide a 'service'. It also manipulates the emotions of the listener - discussing hoists and disability aids, severe disabilities, which for most are a turn off, in a sexual context, guilts people because they know that they could not go to a care home and do such a thing, it brings a visceral feeling of "nooooooooo!" which plays into her hands nicely. She can lighten the mood by suggesting that the kind of women who do it are different and don't mind it, then a few jokes about women who have unwanted sex with their own husbands every night.
The sex industry needs a female face and a harmless face because the second any of the actual unpleasant men who are the actual beneficiaries of prostitution open their mouths or show their faces - all public sympathy drains away. They are a bunch of creepy, threatening bastards with no care for the wellbeing of women and girls and the shows.
