Lily Madigan and the School Saga

dillydallyXX · 24/11/2018 09:50

Lily Madigan has been self-praising again, with more details about how they "sued" their school.

They hired a "team of solicitors", to "advice" Lily and the "principle" gave in on all their "demands".

The truth is slightly different.

Lily arrived at school wearing basically a boob tube. They were sent home because it was against uniform policy. Any girl wearing that for school would have been asked to change or go home. It's clear Lily was looking for a reason to kick things off.

Lily was not "made to wear a man's suit". They were asked to adhere to the school uniform - like any pupil. The girls wear a blazer too and can wear a skirt or trousers; many girls choose to wear trousers and the blazer.

Lily organised a petition. It was an ONLINE petition, quite different to a paper one. The support Lily claimed she had is very difficult to prove.

The school's staff tried very hard to placate Lily. They had meetings with their mother, the pastoral care team, etc - and got nowhere. It apparently caused distress to Lily's younger sister who was at school.

Lily contacted a solicitor in London. Because of the Equality Act the school did have to cater to transgender pupils - and when the school was informed of their obligations they changed their policy in accordance to the Act.

There was no suing of the school. There was no legal action, certainly no "legal battle", as Lily repeatedly claims.

There was no victimisation of Lily. Afterwards, the school said they had tried very hard for Lily and their words and actions had been deliberately twisted.

And now Lily still says that "they won", they "got it all", and that they did all this behind their parents' backs, and then "embarked on a media tour".

Lily's parents knew about it all, right from the day Lily was sent home.

No.

hipsterfun · 16/12/2018 08:50

Oh, I don’t know, credit where credit’s due - it’s quite an amusing placard, give Lils some credit assuming Lils thought it up all by Lilself, and it’s not like babies can read Smile

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 16/12/2018 09:08

I bet lily could when they were a babe in arms. Solving chess puzzles and doing the times crossword.

sorenipples · 16/12/2018 09:13

IT's not original. It was used in any trump protests earlier in the year. And other references have babies "holding" it not late teens. Photos show school age children at the Medway protest, who presumably could read.

I doubt she is outright lying. I suspect she was given a small support role, which she has relayed to be "organised " or "helped organise".

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 16/12/2018 09:24

‘Ok - here hold this and stand over there and keep quiet, and don’t get in the way’

hipsterfun · 16/12/2018 09:48

DS would love it.

DS (applying phonics knowledge): Mummeeeeeee, what’s buh-uh-ulll shhhh-i-t?

Me: I don’t know, DS. Oh, look, what’s that over there? That’s a nice car, isn’t it, DS?

DS: Bullshit, Mummy, bullSHIT! Hahahaha, BULLSHIT! Shit means poo, hahahahaha!

Me: [shakes fist at LM]

Perhaps Lily should reimburse anyone who donated to the facial treatment to look more feminine. Because that was making it difficult to get a job. Now that they have a job an all.

dillydallyXX · 18/12/2018 10:09

Good point - but we have no proof Lily does have a job.

She suddenly said she works in a pub on minimum wage, but where's the proof? She monitors Mumsnet for mentions of her, so she must have seen the criticism that she is 21 and has never, ever had a paid job - and, abracadabra, she tweets she has a job!

Complete and utter fantasist.

HamiltonCork · 18/12/2018 18:33

I wlll believe it when I see a copy of her pay slip and a photo of her working at the bar.

Begging on social media does not count as work.

Katvonblackdeath · 18/12/2018 22:43

She was trying to get people to send her drinks via the Wetherspoons app last week.

Sitting in the pub scrounging drinks is literal work people. Seriously. Show some respect or it's off to the gulag again for you.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 18/12/2018 22:44

Haven’t they got end of term exams or summit?

Needmoresleep · 18/12/2018 22:50

She would not dare mention the pub. It might suddenly become the venue for the terf Christmas night out!

Needmoresleep · 18/12/2018 22:54

The ‘spoons app. I am pleased Lils is acting like a normal student. My DD was so pleased to nab half a dozen books of ‘spoons vouchers during freshers week., not that she was a fresher.

I would find it funny if DD were to message me asking to send her a beer via the app. If Lils sends me a link, I will buy her one instead.

dillydallyXX · 18/12/2018 22:56

Speaking of Lily's "activism" - this shows just how fake she is.

At the airport before going to LA, Lily suddenly tweeted a number of posts about her #AskYouthToStand campaign. She did this so that anyone she met at the summit would look at her Twitter and think she is an activist and busy and really engaged. Before and since, there has been nothing. She tweeted a few posts about how "old people" have stolen from the young - and then nothing. Back to the pub and back to begging.

Fake, fake, fake - and so transparent.

I was going to say this, sounds like me when I was 20 Grin

Yes - and they never will work.

The only job female impersonator Lily Savage is aiming for is MP. God help us!

Ahem (channels Justine).

Can we all back off a bit?

I dislike and worry about this picking through every detail of a disturbed adolescent's life. I thoroughly agree that this young person is doing harm, needs to grow up and shouldn't be in politics, but the excuse that they brought the scrutiny on themselves doesn't seem adequate.

This kid is the same age as my very troubled son (and reminds me of him sometimes). There's a real person below all the posturing and lols.

starcrossedseahorse · 19/12/2018 11:18

20/21 is not a kid tbf. But I do see your point.

KittiesInsane · 19/12/2018 11:24

I know, but my similar-age one is not yet fully fledged, precisely because of the underlying MH issues.

dillydallyXX · 19/12/2018 14:56

@KittiesInsane

I appreciate you might see things differently because of your son, as you say you see similarities between your son's behaviour and that of Lily's, but I do disagree.

Does your son relentlessly attack women, using foul language? Does your son orchestrate hate campaigns against women? Does your son create multiple social media accounts to complain against women?

Lily is not fragile. I doubt anyone could find any tweets or statements by Lily that show any sensitivity, niceness or gentleness. The majority of Lily's tweets have an underlying menacing tone. Lily, IMO, is full of hate and Lily, IMO hates people.

Lily shares quite a few horrible character traits with other high profile trans people - McKinnon being one such example. They are lying, making up so called facts, narcissistic behaviour, trying to get people sacked, always playing the victim and blatant misogyny.
This is a brilliant putdown from Julia Hartley-Brewer.

Arkengarthdale · 19/12/2018 15:43

But this is such a rich seam to mine 😄

Ihaventgottimeforthis · 19/12/2018 16:36

But what is the point of this thread?
