I don’t know the law well enough, but if Jack did not suffer any financial loss or have their reputation affected- it was up 2 hours only- then how do they conclude she must pay up? Pay for what? She didn’t pay up because she wouldn’t be told where to donate money. She might have just paid her had it not been stipulated where the money should go. I find that weird tbh. She’s said a lot worse things that what she said about Jack ( whose last name I can’t remember ).

Yes, I think the Hopkins case is very different. She stated a clear falsehood, which was damaging, was notified of this, and refused to take very straightforward steps to tackle the harm she'd done.

No she refused to donate to a charity. The tweet was deleted within 2 hours and had no impact on Jacks employment or reputation, as it was so publicly dealt with. Do you really want people to be able to dictate what charity someone must donate to in this way? It was a charity unrelated to the tweet issue.

Didn't see the whole Twitter thread, but presumably Joani was accusing him of making defamatory statements about her and therefore threatening to report him to the GMC if he doesn't make a donation to Transgender Trend. If he doesn't want to be reported to the GMC, he should behave with a bit more professionalism.

I think there must have been bad news from the GMC. This is insane behaviour. He is basically pointing at the location of people he doesn't like for his fellow TRAs. And we all know the threats of violence that are repeatedly made by them.
Harrop - you are watching this. You need to get help.
I will be adding my complaint to the GMC.

Caro, you can just email a complaint to the gmc, you don't have to complete a form. And I rather suspect you wouldn't even need to quote his registration number for them to be sure who you meant
