Hayden doesn't appear to be registered with CILEX, the SRA, or Bar Standards Board. So not a chartered legal executive, solicitor or barrister.

So while they are free to describe themselves as a 'lawyer' - just as they are free to describe themselves as a project manager, or nutritionist - they don't appear to be 'lawyering' in the way that the woman on the Clapham omnibus would understand.

More sensible and measured posting from this medical professional I see. Now scaremongering about the family courts and taking a 'friend of a mother's gofundme as fact.

Hmm. One assumes this is a different case to the boy who has been returned to his father with the judge forbidding further contact from a certain charity? The court statement in that case was pretty clear.
To argue against that particular case would be a whole new level of blind refusal to accept facts and not a sensible stance for a professional Dr to take.

If it is another case than that is another cheer from me for the judges who see this for what it is. Abuse and a whole new world of opportunity for Munchausen inclined parents.

I note that neither Harrop or Prior have put their names to any of the donations so far. They either donated anonymously and stingily, or haven’t donated.

As always with complex child welfare cases, it is best practice not to assume. Dr Harrop should be very aware of this.

What I don't understand is why Haddock's so invested. He's not trans and is married, so presumably isn't looking for a fling with a trans person.

Surprised he's not at the trans-health conference in Argentina picking up on how to treat this population. Seeing as how there's probably going to be a vacancy once Dr W's sentenced.

I can't say I have researched any statistics relating to Munchausen by proxy but my impression from memory of cases that made the news is it seems to be more often the mothers who are at the heart of it.

As regards trans children like I said, it offers a whole new level of opportunity - a toxic mix of fashion, attention seeking, cheerleaders of questionable integrity and professionals who should know better but are either in thrall or who don't dare challenge the orthodoxy for fear of accusations of trans phobia. That a certain charity is supporting another four mothers families is interesting. So they are becoming family law experts now?

We can only hope other family court judges also cut through all this and ensure that children get the protection they deserve, including clipping the wings of charities overstepping their remit.

How/why are some these cases reported on and others not? I know of an extremely shocking case, involving a child & courts which I won't comment on here, yet it has never been reported on.
