NotTerfNorCis · 19/10/2018 17:37

They're escalating.

Popchyk · 19/10/2018 17:37

The Metro hosted the Stonewall ad, the numpties.

nottakingthisanymore · 19/10/2018 17:39

If this is true then it is a spectacular own goal. It is also very worrying.

NibblyPig · 19/10/2018 17:40

Now THIS is literal violence

rememberatime · 19/10/2018 17:41

They might have done their research though - the metro staff aren't even in...

ijustwannadance · 19/10/2018 17:42

Muppets.
Total own goal.

MacaroonMama · 19/10/2018 17:42

I am sure people on here said that this is the most dangerous time - like the two weeks after a woman leaves an abusive partner? Scary.

Popchyk · 19/10/2018 17:43

And it wasn't an anti-trans ad.

The ad didn't even mention trans or transgender once.

Waterparc · 19/10/2018 17:43

“the mighty ships tore across the empty wastes of space and finally dived screaming on to the first planet they came across - which happened to be the Earth - where due to a terrible miscalculation of scale the entire battle fleet was accidentally swallowed by a small dog.”

pennydrew · 19/10/2018 17:44

Oh ffs

FekkoTheLawyer · 19/10/2018 17:46

Oh yes I remember them threatening to bring their rattles to Kensington. How many layabouts who need to get a job turned up?

boldlygoingsomewhere · 19/10/2018 17:47

WTF is wrong with these people? I hope the police arrest them.

FekkoTheLawyer · 19/10/2018 17:48

I hope the embassy police rolled up to see what was happening (visions of much swooning and frilly knicker wetting at the sight of armed police).

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 19/10/2018 17:52

'Unfortunately Metro print edition staff don't work Fridays' - priceless!

What with this and Lily at the kind and gentle politics event, I am thinking the film of all this might well be a comedy.

They're escalating

Yep.

Trans activists have physically attacked women.
They've worn balaclavas to block women from buildings and called them c*nts.
They've run countless smear campaigns.
They've committed property damage.
They've issued bomb threats.
Some trans activists have committed sexual asaults, and excused rapes, and called for rapes, and exposed their genitals in public.
They've abused children.
They've posed with axes and bats studded with nails and knives and threatened to kill women.
Trans activists have now smoke bombed a newspaper.
Women meet in secret because of fear of what trans activists are capable of.
MPs hide their identity when they meet with women's rights activists because of fear of what trans activists are capable of.
Journalists avoid writing about the topic because of fear of what trans activists are capable of.

When will our politicians take this seriously and do something about it?

Popchyk · 19/10/2018 17:54

Are they aware that some of the people in that building are men?

They normally only terrorise women.

This is quite the departure.

OlennasWimple · 19/10/2018 17:54

Is there a Fascism for Dummies guide doing the rounds or something? Bombing the press in the democratic country - really? And they think that this will make the majority of people who know nothing about their cause immediately sympathetic?

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 19/10/2018 17:55

Going after the newspapers, though...
I mean, the journalists all know each other and pissing off one paper isn't going to make the others any friendlier.

AspieAndProud · 19/10/2018 17:57

which happened to be the Earth - where due to a terrible miscalculation of scale the entire battle fleet was accidentally swallowed by a small dog

I so miss Douglas Adams.

(And Terry Pratchett.)

Popchyk · 19/10/2018 17:57

Not just any newspaper though.

The one that hosted a Stonewall ad this week in support of trans rights.

OvaHere · 19/10/2018 17:58

Come on people, it's only a couple of bombs in the street.

Let's not forget how dangerous stickers are. Literal violence!

ToeToToe · 19/10/2018 17:58

These are the nut jobs we're dealing with - we warned people we are dealing with violent, aggressive, threatening males.

Yes, that's violent aggressive males.

Not transexuals, like Debbie Hayton, whom the GRA 2004 was intended for. Aggressive transgender activists. And no, I don't want the latter in women's spaces.

AspieAndProud · 19/10/2018 17:58

Je suis Metro

dolorsit · 19/10/2018 17:59

The numpties. The guardian employee obviously hasn't read his papers editorial. Describing last week's ad as anti trans in his tweet.
