I have noticed what might be described as a pursed smile from Ian Hislop when HIGNFY edges near to this subject.

I suspect Private Eye may have a great deal to say at some point in the future.

Well I’m sure it’s not the first time that somebody has tried to insult a radical feminist by calling them a man. Usually it’s not the kind of remark you expect from a Labour Party Women’s officer.

I think with Ian Hislop he doesn't care enough. He could make a stand, even if on the free speech issue etc rather than women's rights angle. If he got sacked it'd shine more light on the issue etc and it's not like he'd struggle for money. Personally I think HIGNFY has had its day, though obviously it's a nice earner for Ian and Paul Merton.

Even if he’s not remotely interested in women’s rights, there are many things in this debate that I should have thought would be very appealing to anyone with a sardonic sense of humour.

I’m sure Ian Hislop has plenty to say on the subject. I’m not sure he thinks it’s advisable to give up his cosy BBC Satire n History career over it.

I think a lot of older people who should know better have both encouraged and used Lily Madigan.

They know exactly what thwybare doing. Right now the link to the petition is back. The link was removed after proof was tweeted in the responses that they had lied about the grc. Claiming they can't get married.

The mental health breaks always occur after they have been shown up for lying. Proof posted that they were racist or offensive etc. Then everyone ends up feeling sorry for them. Hello.you just lied to hundreds of people and were caught out

Not so long ago they tweeted that Terfs aren't really feminists, seemingly oblivious to the fact that the "f" stands for feminist.

Why exactly is this person being invited to speak? Are they an unusually impressive public speaker or something? Is anyone going along? You could read out their tweets at them and ask if this is what is meant by a "kinder, gentler politics".
