Surely EVERYONE only speaks for themselves, including the good doctor. The transactvists he worships only speak for themselves yet he appears to have no issue making out they speak for all trans people , where from what I have seen, actual transsexual people are just as likely to be against self ID as feminists are. But transactivists claim to speak for them, and Mr Harrop doesn't pull them up on it.

It’s hilarious that Harrop says Fionne doesn’t speak for all trans people, while positioning himself (as a cis, gay man) as someone who speaks for trans people.

It just shows how nasty a lot of these activists are.
Going on about how badly they are harrassed, literal violence and the like whilst doing exactly the same to people under their own bloody umbrella who don't toe their own party line. Look at Joss Prior dismiss someone defending Fionne's personal view as a bunch of conservative attention-seekers from the older generation want to feel special. Nasty piece of work.

And exactly as you say Badger, the irony of him saying this does not go as far as giving Fionne the right to speak on behalf of all trans, non-binary or gender diverse people. when that's exactly what he's trying to carve out his 15 minutes by doing.

What a beautiful man, inside and out. I hope he stays strong and continues to forge his own path. THIS is what true gender non-conformity looks like - being comfortable with yourself and looking however the hell you want to look (and absolutely rocking it, btw) without that somehow meaning that you now have to be forced into being a woman. He is himself, and wonderfully so!
