Fionne Orlander is genuinely expanding the bandwidth of what it means to be a man. Unlike Alex Drummond who claims that Alex and beard are expanding what it means to be a women.

Why not be a beautiful, feminine man? Why not be a beautiful, masculine woman? Why do these fabulous individuals have to conform to rigid thinking that says if Fionne wants to look like that he has to “become” a woman?

Fionne, and all your mates, and anyone like you who is actually expanding the bandwidth of gender - I genuinely would be happy to use whatever pronoun you felt appropriate. I grew into my real self, loving Bowie and T-Rex, then the New Romantics, with George’s flawless make up.
In fact my most beloved style these days is very Culture Club with the layers and flounces.
I love that as a lesbian with children and grandchildren I am modelling myself of that outrageous gay lad who challenged so many norms.

Am transfixed by John! There's something hypnotic about his videos.

I remember when I could go clubbing and be guaranteed to run into at least a couple of men like Fionne. What the hell happened? I thought by the 90s everyone had more or less gotten used to the idea that men don't have to be masculine and women don't have to be feminine, but damn did things ever take a wrong turn between then and now.

I like Kinesis on Twitter too. Think it's super important that we acknowledge and support all the nice considerate trans people out there who find a way of leading the life they want to without trampling on other people's rights and spaces.

Fionne seems like a beautiful person inside and out. I follow them on twitter and respect their stance in this madness.

I really like Kinesis too. Let’s see more of these gentle, respectful gender non conforming men. I’m sure they must be out there but are drowned out by the entitled bullying screeching of the TRAs.
