Potato.

TurfClub · 01/10/2018 23:06

I think Graham can afford his own lawyers, Stephanie. Lots of them. Even more when we start the crowdfunder.

Real ones, with law degrees and licences to practice.

pombear · 01/10/2018 23:06

I agree Smelly - Turf was really good at joining (publicly available) dots plain and simple.

They seem to have made other people very cross.

And when those other people get very cross they mass-report to enable suspension and deletions on Twitter for reasons that, in the real offline world, people would usually go 'huh'? for.

And then it appears some of those people pop up here to attack again.

Turf Cake in case you don't drink!

InWomensProtection · 01/10/2018 23:07

Don’t panic on 28th September there was a narcissist tweet pointing out mumsnet was a limited company and I do believe ‘harassment’ was used in the same tweet.

So there is enough love to go around.

In meantime at least I can add mumsnet university of bigots to my cv, infact you all can as we was given lawyer approval along with nutjobs

JillyArmeeen · 01/10/2018 23:07

And how exactly would 'she' 'make' GL do anything of the sort??
I really hope he doesn't do that..
A forced apology is not sincere anyway. Worthless really.

FermatsTheorem · 01/10/2018 23:09

I'm pretty sure you can't serve that sort of legal document by shoving it through a letterbox! Apart from anything else, it might end up with entirely the wrong person (as happened when I had a bailif's letter, claiming to be hand-served to the addressee, shoved through my door. It was for the previous tenant who'd done a moonlight flit - that's why they have to be handed over in person!)

@turfclub, did you really just link a video of this lawyer (Note I've removed the ""'s now as you've verified she is indeed a lawyer) serving a writ due to harassment by a man and his wife on Twitter four years ago ... So she has rather a lot of experience in the law, unfortunately exactly in the area needed to get a court order on Twitter to reveal your IP (You did never use your real IP, right?) and to serve a competent lawsuit on Linehan. That seems like a mistake if you want to imply Linehan and yourself have nothing to worry about.

NotTerfNorCis · 01/10/2018 23:12

I checked the original tweet, it was blacked out in that too

That's odd because the original has been deleted. It's still in Google cache, though, and what you say is untrue. Anyone needing further evidence can screenshot it.

FermatsTheorem · 01/10/2018 23:12

I'm sure in their mind, SH sees this unfolding along the lines of the McLibel case. I suspect it may be more a case of "carry on up the litigation." (I'm thinking there may be a role for Bernard Breslaw in there somewhere...)

Datun · 01/10/2018 23:14

How come TRAs still haven't yet grasped that literally any publicity for them is bad publicity.

The very act of sunlight is negative.

TurfClub · 01/10/2018 23:15

My IP address is about as much use to you as a box of tampons, Stephanie. Trust me on this. But do go ahead and waste your money if you want, it makes no difference to me.

pombear · 01/10/2018 23:16

OMFG Turf you are the black belt of dot-to-dotting!

Whilst I wouldn't want to join any dots, that's really interesting behaviour in that film, completely unconnected, but really interesting.

In other news, I love the phrase 'apropos of nothing'.

InWomensProtection · 01/10/2018 23:17

However I did report the lawyers retweet of photoshop of Posie in uniform doing salute hilter style and every other person that retweeted it the other day. That was Just nasty, like all the other tweets I came across mocking her appearance. Absolute duckers!

So I see no victims here to defend.

Mr & Mrs Linehan however I wish all the best to and hope you know how much support you have.

SistersOfMercy · 01/10/2018 23:17

@NotTerfNorCis I've seen the tweet and the "dox" was this lawyer linking Linehans wife's, companies, company number. Yes it really was that tenuous. Grasping at straws like that implies he knows he is in trouble.

Sisters I have to say you really are not sisterly in any way. This thread is extremely sinister and you have brought that flavour to it.

It just seems that you have a lot of insider information about all this and I find your attitude very threatening and unpleasant.

The feminist women's rights section of Mumsnet is massively supportive to each other (as women are) and those people who don't support each other stand out like a sore thumb.

TurfClub · 01/10/2018 23:24

It seems some 'lawyers' spend more of their time trying to silence women then win cases for actual clients. I don't know what type of lawyer that would be called. Perhaps, narcissistor?

Manderleyagain · 01/10/2018 23:24

Datun you are so right. more spotlights on the way some people behave, the things some people believe, and the demands some people are making. That's what's needed. They had good reasons for saying no debate.

JillyArmeeen · 01/10/2018 23:26

"go to such lengths to hide their identity." such lengths as using VPN.
Not exactly difficult to use VPN, hardly as taxing as say, changing your name three times Hmm

TurfClub · 01/10/2018 23:26

"But you do realise you just admitted to using a VPN to hide your IP on Twitter,"

No I bloody well didn't. Now stop fishing.

pombear · 01/10/2018 23:29

Datun

For the late crowd:

Some people just can't help themselves. If this wasn't so serious, I'd find it a fascinating exercise in psychology.

InWomensProtection · 01/10/2018 23:30

@turfclub your not testing the Internet security one of your neighbours are you.

My neighbours are boring the keep same bob standard hub name probably same passwords.

DuckingGoodPJs · 01/10/2018 23:31

Ah, I see the extra-large-jumbo-size batch of popcorn is required for this one. SistersOfMercy being the gravy. Popcorn, with gravy. It's a thing, right?

Someone on Glinner's twitter thread has come up with the marvellous word "lolsuit". Sums up Hayden's efforts nicely I think.
They win the internet for that day, for sure.

I wonder if someone's screenname should be changed to SistersOfNotFakeLawyeringLawyer? Catchy.

TurfClub · 01/10/2018 23:34

InWomensProtection I am not anywhere where Stephanie's lolsuits would reach.
