Posie Parker will be on This Morning tomorrow.

Not sure which TRA/AWA will be provided for her to chew up and spit out though.

Sorry, wrong thread (though weirdly almost fits in!!)

Jordan B Peterson was once asked what he feared and his reply was 'the statement that ends it all' - it sounds like GMB was set up to obtain that very thing today but Posie lives to fight another day.

As for the next platform... it was mentioned earlier in the thread but the Rubin Report would be great - you get an hour in a more conversational setting (as opposed to an oppositional one) so she'd have time to develop several issues rather than have to pick and choose.

Rubin's had several British guests on before and PP, being in the eye of a very zeitgeisty storm, would appear to be just about the perfect guest. Make it so!

nails2018 · 28/09/2018 22:27

@151 yeah you are right. She was obviously playing it down today. But my point stands - where do we find the men who have had the surgery who are horrified by all this? Or even the men who haven't had Gender reassignment surgery that have no intention of crashing women's spaces? They must be out there despairing. Just like we are. As a feminist I would never want to discriminate against anybody on the basis of their gender and I think we all agree on this. But now we have no voice against the predators and child abusers, but equally the men who want to be women don't either. All our voices are all being drowned by the TRAs. If we can all fight back against the TRAs then maybe we can then talk about how this could work.

@nails2018 just found out how to change my username. Was user151. I 100% agree with you.

There are several on twitter. They tried to start their own pressure group TS voices but TRA’s shut it down.

Off the top of my head there’s:

Kristina Harrison
Miranda Yardley
Debbie Hayton
Jenny Randles
Rose of Dawn
Fione Orlander

There’s several posters on here as well.

They are definitely out there.

Even the transsexuals on twitter who agree with self ID are normally perfectly civil when disagreeing, unlike the TRA’s.

Fionne orlander in case you are hunting
Also iamfaylouise on self ID

Charliethefeminist · 28/09/2018 22:50

Scratch that I got muddled up with someone else

pleasesleepinyourownbed · 28/09/2018 22:55

Sorry that was a quick reply as busy. I don't think there will ever be any reasoning with the TRA's. I say that because they feel as strongly as about this as we do. They are ruining the lives of many gender reassignment men & women with their attention seeking bile. The many men that want to live under the radar & quietly as women are now in a very precarious position. Attention they definitely did not want. But hey, as long as the TRA's & the likes get their publicity & their faces all over the media.

TwistedStitch · 28/09/2018 22:55

I like Fionne Orlander very much.

Charliethefeminist · 28/09/2018 22:57

Fionne posted a pic once of a conventional male appearance and there is quite a transcendental beauty there. Sorry shallow comment but whatever.

ToeToToe · 28/09/2018 22:59

Fionne is beautiful and lovely.

Did a radio podcast a while back. It's on twitter.

Fionne tweeted about the attack on Maria M being male violence - which is very brave, in the face of the trans-activist line on this.

TwistedStitch · 28/09/2018 23:02

This will sound shallow but FO looks great, and could probably opt for an easier life as a kind of poster girl being fawned over by TRAs but chooses to support women instead. I liked the #adulthumanmale alongside amazing pictures.

RepealtheGRA · 28/09/2018 23:05

Yes I liked Fionnes #AdultHumanMale Smile

Fionne gets a fair bit of flack from TAs from not pushing the TWAW line.

I absolutely applaud Fionne for standing with women. I don't even know Fionne's pronouns actually - but for me, Fionne would be an honorary she (if that's what Fionne wanted) because Fionne stands with women.

The difference between transwomen like Fionne, Miranda Yardley and Debbie Hayton is quite remarkable - and shows just how and why:

a) women welcomed old-style transexuals into their spaces a decade ago,

b) how extreme the transactivists are, and,

c) how damaging trans-activism is to people like Fionne.

ToeToToe · 28/09/2018 23:12

Sorry, missed out a bit: ....the difference between Fionne, Miranda Yardley, Debbie Hayton and trans-activists is....

We have got to get to the point where biological sex is accepted and laws are based on material reality.

People are free to present themselves how they like.

And Male violence towards women and gender non conforming men/feminine men is not tolerated under any circumstances.

I’m sure the majority of transsexuals agree with those aims. The misogynists who have hijacked the GRA/trans rights for the own agenda, really don’t.

Until we get there we have to hold the line of Woman = Adult Human Female and your DNA’s not XX you’re not coming in.

OP posts:
ToeToToe · 28/09/2018 23:42

Absolutely OP.

Thank you Errol - Fionne and I do follow each other on twitter, but I have lots of twitter breaks so miss stuff.

Fionne shows eminently the difference between transexuals who identify with women and the TRAs who shout at women that 'anyone who says they are a woman is a woman". (often peppered with language like "you're a terf".

The latter are generally misogynists who want to control and coerce women - and appropriate their language. The former - don't.

TrumpsToddlerTantrums · 28/09/2018 23:59

Pheww, finally got to the end of the thread! My meagre thoughts follow.

Watched TM on catch-up, I thought Posie was great. It is empowering to see a woman refusing to be cowed or play the game being forced upon her. I want to be more like her.

The 1st time I watched, IWs simpering and unusual coyness, "dulcet" tones made me feel quite violent, 2nd time DH was watching and I was listening as I embraced my gender and loaded the dishwasher and all I could hear was that pompous arse talking over all with his "As a man..." mansplaining that he thinks he has no skin in the game but everyone should listen to him because he is MAN! Ugh! Ruth needs to LTB, pronto!

DancelikeEmmaGoldman · 29/09/2018 00:27

This article, about another woman confronting male anger, is interesting. I hope Posie continues to be disrespectful - I’ve had a gutful of being nice to men who deserve neither niceness or respect.

OlennasWimple · 29/09/2018 00:33

sorry if this has already been posted, but here's a clip of Eamonn "policemen who say they are women should be allowed to put their fingers up the vagina of women that they arrest" Holmes

HelenaDove · 29/09/2018 02:20

"Any one remember Eamonn Holmes' public rage when he was criticised for being over weight "

I hope he hasnt said anything derogatory about Tess Holliday then.

I caught the end of a disagreement that Ruth was having with Eamon on an edition of TM ages ago where she said that in the evenings she didnt get to sit down until 11 pm.

RepealtheGRA · 29/09/2018 07:35

Thanks OlennasWimple now why is that not the clip this morning are using Hmm

With regard to Fionne, prior to all this kicking off I would have referred to Fionne as she if that was what Fionne wanted. Fionne seems an absolutely lovely, decent human being who I would be really sad to think had ever been discriminated against or targeted for their presentation or identity.

But at the moment I am going to use ‘he’ because the Law needs to be made on material reality and what is good for the population as a whole not how any individuals feel about other individuals.

The fact that I think Fionne is fab and I respect his journey has no bearing on what I think the law should be in this country, neither does the fact I think India is a vile manipulative individual.

If I sat next to Fionne or India on national TV I would say the same to both, the difference is Fionne wouldn’t take offence and do the ‘what about meeeee’ act, India would.
