Posie on This Morning

Posie Parker will be on This Morning tomorrow.

Not sure which TRA/AWA will be provided for her to chew up and spit out though.

I watched the This Morning clip expecting an absolute shower after the posts on here earlier. I thought Posie did well - she didn’t get rattled and she made some really clear points.

Can someone summarise the tone of the FB feed, as I’m not on FB & some of the comnents earlier were a bit unclear about direction of travel.

I think it was because it wasn't the uproaringly fantastic drubbing that she gave Dr Harrop, boatyard. She was outnumbered, with basically 3 people barracking her.... why don't you like Indiaaaa ?

I agree she did well though - spoke very clearly and eloquently.

I thought she was fantastic. I asked my husband to watch it and he also thought she was great.

Posie was never going to get a fair shot with ITV let's remember they have Butterfly to promote (in association with mermaids)

I love her. I thought she was extremely eloquent. It must be so hard not to back down but she really didn’t. You could almost feel her complete frustration at people not understanding something so simple as men can’t be women. She said it in so many ways. She was about 3 more minutes from repeatedly banging her own head on the table and rocking.

I'm somewhat inclined to see this as the DM inviting criticism of the 'This Morning' viewer comments.

The look on that twat Eamon was priceless.Thought Posie was great sadly it was very much three against one but Posie held her own.

Posie has got the debate out into the mainstream now and the DM comments so far are backing her all the way.

I wonder if the women fretting about Posie not being sweet and empathetic enough realize that fundamentally what they're saying is "she needs to be more feminine or people won't like her/I can't bring myself to agree with her". Which is part of why she's not doing that, because the whole bloody point here is that a woman is an adult human female, not a sweetly self-sacrificing person who would never get angry or push back when her fundamental rights are being threatened and systematically eroded.

It's the most sexist, sself-defeating position we could possibly adopt, so no, we're not going to do that.
