Ocado boycott after support of Primesight action

On discovering today that Ocado are continuing to use Primesight after they removed Standing For Women's billboard, thereby showing they have no respect for women or our rights, I have emailed them to tell them that I will no longer shop with them as they support misogyny. I'm just wondering how many others have done the same and hoping this thread gets picked up by twitter and/or the press.

Live chat is very slow. They must be extra busy for some reason.

I’ve just been on the phone to someone very sweet who really had no clue about all of this. Doesnt really seem to have penetrated the organisation.

I’ve been a customer for 15 years and will be really annoyed if I have to cancel - have asked for clarification from someone higher up.

ive been using ocado more often as my schedule is getting busier and delivery seems more appealing.

I'm properly gutted, I loved Ocado! But have just placed my first order directly with Waitrose who luckily deliver to my house. We spend £1000 a month on groceries.

I don't have an ocado account but I am a middle class women who does the grocery shopping and I have many similar women friends who will be interested to hear that adult female is regarded as hate speech by ocado.

Thought I might just let them know that.

I’m a childminder and I do a lot of cooking.
Ocado were more reliable for quality and they were the only company shopping straight from their warehouse when they first started up, so better for food hygiene.

I've been waiting too for the statement to explain that actually this was a rogue intern going off message because the Ocado message is that woman = adult human female.

Then I tried calling and the phone was hung up 4 times.

I do not want to cancel - I love ocado, I wouldn't buy my diamond encrusted salmon anywhere else. But I can't let this pass or I will certainly be on the wrong side of history letting others risk a lot more than a convenient delivery slot.

I have opened an account with Sainsbury's and so far I don't like it.

I called again to see if they had an update....the guy had no idea what I was talking about. I said really? How long have you been on your shift? So he tapped away at his computer and said ah yes, do you want to speak to a manager?

Apparently they will be issuing a statement and it will be on social media platforms.
