Mogloveseggs - there are ways of quiet resistance - keeping the door open for a change of policy. GG have really backed themselves into a corner over this so they are making it hard for themselves to do anything without losing face. When you read about groups that encourage these changes, they get the organisation in line then encourage them to dismiss any dissent and then stop engaging. This is what GG have done and it doesn’t work. I hope there are lots of committed Guiders like you (and the Guider my DDs had who has committed her entire life to Guiding) who can pull the organisation through in the form that was intended.

Wow. That was excellent. Caroline Farrow understands safeguarding comprehensively and can compact points with clarity so that she can fit a lot into a few seconds of speaking.

Just watching on catch up. She agrees that boys and girls should be split up, but trans girls can be with the girls because they are girls. So she must then believe that we split up boys on girls bases on their personalities not based on their bodies or biology. what does this mean, is it whoever has the most likes / retweets comes first or is it more complicated than that? Yes it is pretty much that and the TRAs are savvy. They know to not scatter their likes and retweets too wildly and to focus on one tweet or specific group of tweets.

Be Upstanding so all the girls in the GG who like GG are they a problem too they are experimenting too. then your going to say but they will not get them prengent, so then it's about sex education so on we go. but young people are not inherently abusive towards others.

Moreover, what about girls wanting privacy from penises and their owners? You seem happy to shove boys in with girls - are you arguing for no sex-segregation at all, then?

no you keep making it about abuse and sexualisation of children. your arguments fall apart as you are trying to make this fit and only consider hetronormative narratives

but young people are not inherently abusive towards others. Some are - and we just can't tell which ones it will be, trans or not. It's why we sex segregate in the first place - isn't it? My best friend was sexually assaulted on the way home from school by boys she'd grown up with - she had no reason to think she couldn't trust them.
