This is probably the best TV coverage of this. Now onto Pips. I am gobsmacked.

JoggerBottom · 25/09/2018 08:07

Thank you Piers Flowers

ILuvBirdsEye · 25/09/2018 08:07

So bloody disingenuous!! SG!! No f'ing clue as to why people and children are sex segregated.... apparently.

Under the equality act they are treated as girls!

ILuvBirdsEye · 25/09/2018 08:08

PM!!! Briliant! Thank you!!

BiologyMatters · 25/09/2018 08:09

All Susie really had to say was "trans girls are girls". Dfod.

ILuvBirdsEye · 25/09/2018 08:09

I was fully prepared to throw my tea at the TV but they both got it!

scepticalwoman · 25/09/2018 08:10

Well that covered all the bases ! And excellent responses from Caroline. Another clear and articulate women Flowers

Kyanite · 25/09/2018 08:12

I hope the public didn't buy that harmless child line...there may be mothers happy for their daughters to share a tent with someone male bodied but I expect many fathers wouldn't be.

boatyardblues · 25/09/2018 08:15

OK, which one of you is Piers?

Iused2BanOptimist · 25/09/2018 08:18

I only heard the end but I think Susie parroting trans girls are girls will have raised a few eyebrows. Did anyone mention the possibility of self id men as Guide leaders? From a safe guarding point of view I find that much more concerning than a handful of confused teen boys which doesn't mean I would be happy about them sharing facilities either.

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 25/09/2018 08:19

I hope we can watch it on catchup. I've heard Caroline speak before, she's brilliant. She very politely gives zero fucks.

DriftingLeaves · 25/09/2018 08:19

That's brightened my morning. TRAs have been forcing through their nonsense for too long. Time to push back.

Wrathofjurgenklop · 25/09/2018 08:20

Thankyou Piers.

finnmcool · 25/09/2018 08:21

I'm not on twitter, but would it be worth posting a link to the consultation? I have been shocked at how few people are aware of it. I just feel it would be worth posting the link onto every twitter thread and newspaper comments section.

Juells · 25/09/2018 08:22

“you are picking on them...you are othering them” Ummm...boys are 'other' as far as girls are concerned. Calling them transgirls doesn't change the fact that they're boys.

GulagMilkMonitor · 25/09/2018 08:22

Lots of people in the comments saying they want to know who is around their children. Can anyone on Twitter share the link to the FPFW consultation page on that thread?

TheFairyCaravan · 25/09/2018 08:22

Piers Morgan was brilliant. I really wasn’t expecting that.

Gileswithachainsaw · 25/09/2018 08:22

Ooh when poss cab we have a catch up link please

ZuttZeVootEeVro · 25/09/2018 08:22

Meanwhile, BBC breakfast are running news reports about doctor who, Scrabble and hedgehogs.

FlippinFumin · 25/09/2018 08:22

I just asked my 14 yo granddaughter if on a school trip she would happy sharing sleeping and showering spaces with a boy identifying as a girl. Her answer was 'No they are still a boy, and boys are horrible'.

finnmcool · 25/09/2018 08:23

Sorry, every article/ thread that is discussing women's rights/ safeguarding etc.

derxa · 25/09/2018 08:23

Watched this. Trans guide leaders???

derxa · 25/09/2018 08:24

Meanwhile, BBC breakfast are running news reports about doctor who, Scrabble and hedgehogs. It really is crap

hasopinionswilltravel · 25/09/2018 08:26

Right. So on risk of pregnancy for the girls, Susie Green is asking us to believe that trans girls are so lovely and fluffy and harmless that they don't have sex, ever? Pull the other one Susie, this is teenagers we're talking about.
