We never wanted our stickers to be used in schools says group which recommended plastering them all over your pencil case.

Can you link to where they recommended children stick them on their pencil cases? I missed that.

HandsOffMyRights · 22/09/2018 13:14

Me too.

As a concerned parent I can't recommend TransgenderTrend enough and will be approaching my own DCs' schools with packs.

OP, which school packs do your DCs' schools use out of interest?

HandsOffMyRights · 22/09/2018 13:15

When I say "me too" I'm not agreeing with your gloat OP.

I mean, I'd like a link to TG Trend encouraging kids to stick all over their pencil cases please.

LangCleg · 22/09/2018 13:17

Guidance pack producer A: makes a mistake publicising a sticker campaign and immediately issues a public apology.

Guidance pack producer B: drives a coach and horses through statutory safeguarding frameworks and maintains radio silence.

Mrskeats · 22/09/2018 13:19

Transgender trend is an amazing group.
Gloat off op.

Starkstaring · 22/09/2018 13:19

Promoting being transgender is the most anti-LBG movements I have ever seen - most of these kids would otherwise grow up to be gay or lesbian with their bodies intact.

UpstartCrow · 22/09/2018 13:19

@ArmchairAnnie
group which recommended plastering them all over your pencil case.

Please supply a link to back up your claim.

Berthatydfil · 22/09/2018 13:20

What’s wrong with telling children that they aren’t born in the wrong body

scepticalwoman · 22/09/2018 13:20

What LangCleg said.

Mrskeats · 22/09/2018 13:21

Exactly stark

BettyDuMonde · 22/09/2018 13:22

For those asking of proof, Here it is,

Good to see Mail exposing Transgender Trend dishonesty
gendercritter · 22/09/2018 13:31

People are allowed to make a mistake. It's a pretty minor one in the grand scheme of things.

BettyDuMonde · 22/09/2018 13:31

That was more agreement than recommendation, so I commend TT for apologising and retracting (because minimisation in apologies is annoying - see BrushBox and Yandy for this weeks examples) even though it wasn’t them who said it.

jeaux90 · 22/09/2018 13:31

What's wrong with a level students putting these stickers on their pencil cases?

OvaHere · 22/09/2018 13:32

Are the note-books identifying as pencil cases? Grin

sanluca · 22/09/2018 13:33

You are basing your gloat on one tweet in response to someone else saying the stickers could be put on notebooks by kids doing a levels, so older ones, nearly adults.

Don't transactivists ever get tired of always overreacting about everything?

glenthebattleostrich · 22/09/2018 13:34

Hmm, less of a mistake than recommending sterilising children with experimental drugs though really isn't it.

HandsOffMyRights · 22/09/2018 13:35

Thanl you. They replied to the Tweet abt sixth formers by mistake rather than actively recommending.

If only those defending Bradley and Challenor - those committing actual crimes - were noble or honest.

But thanks for posting on feminism OP where you knew we'd disagree.

Which packs do your children's schools use?

OlennasWimple · 22/09/2018 13:35

Ova Grin

Elephantinacravat · 22/09/2018 13:36

I can't say I see much wrong with the stickers to be honest. They tell the truth and speak reality, which is refreshing in the current climate.

In any case, I have huge respect for Transgender Trend for admitting they may have made a mistake and retracting. Its a hell of a lot better than the either the mealy mouthed bollocks or radio silence we have had from other groups in other situations.

Transgender Trend is an excellent group and I would much rather their materials in schools than fucking Mermaids or similar. I do not want my children being taught that if they like things that are outside of the normal stereotypical expectations of their sex, that there could be something wrong with them and it may need correcting. Fuck. That. Noise.

HandsOffMyRights · 22/09/2018 13:38

Is that you Helen? (Waves)

Helen from Mermaids' Twitter timeline is fixated on TG Trend. I mean to the pount of obsessive.

Elephantinacravat · 22/09/2018 13:38

Are the note-books identifying as pencil cases?

Grin

Don't you know that words have no actual meaning anymore, so of course a ream of lined paper bound together with cardboard front and back could be referred to as a 'pencil case'.

UpstartCrow · 22/09/2018 13:39

So what actually happened was someone tweeted 'put them on your pencil case' and Transgender Trend tweeted 'good idea'.
Then someone decided that oppresses children.

Great, so do we agree that pushing trans ideology in schools confuses, oppresses and harms children who are not transgender?
