How do you reconcile the safeguarding loopholes outlined above with your wish to see mermaids/gires type information in schools?
I think Annie was the 900(andsomething)th person I asked about my pet three safeguarding loopholes in the guidance Annie approves of. Lest anyone has forgotten them, here they are:
Allowing confidential disclosures
Encouraging parental alienation/not sharing information with parents
Discouraging multi-agency working
These loopholes place gender-questioning children outwith the statutory safeguarding frameworks enjoyed by other children. When we all agree this is a vulnerable group, how can this be a good thing?
Sticker mistakes aside, I think it is fabulous that the Transgender Trend pack is Working Together compliant and does not put gender-questioning children at extra risk.
Anyway. Annie didn't answer. Perhaps this could be 1,001st time lucky?
