TRAs going after MN sponsors- BirdsEye

A few weeks ago I read about a plan to target MN sponsors in order to shut us down. Looks like it is starting with Birdseye. Anyone fancy going over and saying their bit?

I too spend a whack on birds eye products...

Their target market is me! I hope they don't get bullied.

The Bird's Eye chargrilled Inspirations fish are lovely and very handy for the nights I am working (along with the chickpea mix etc. things). My youngest loves the chicken dippers and has a friend who comes round who will only eat them (so I always have them).

I second a good fish finger sandwich and I probably have far too many Bird's Eye products in my freezer.

Are they still making the battered fish fingers though? I can't find them anywhere.

Also 'Under Bird's Eye' was a classic comment.

Surely gulags are traditionally cold? Our birds eye goodies should be fine. I'm willing to bet that the TRAs don't get through as many fish fingers, nuggets and assorted vegetables as my brood.

I have a chest freezer. I bet hardly any of the TRAs can say that.

Perhaps it would be worth choosing a day/week where we just don't buy any Birds Eye products, in order to demonstrate that it would have an immediate impact on their sales?

Birdseye know who buy 99.7% of their fish fingers and it's not very many of the 0.3%

We also get through stellar amounts of Birds Eye peas. I do occasionally buy Sainsbos Taste the Difference once but I shall cease and desist with immediate effect.

Birds Eye are the only brand of peas I buy in the UK. The others jsut aren't the same

And now my side ad bar is showing "Wholesome Blue Pea Flower Tea" adverts....

I will reject supermarket own brand for Birdseye in solidarity. The men of the house will be pleased. But as the mother of an athlete, Dear Birdseye could you make much bigger boxes of the fishfingers for this side of the alps please. They are a good, quick snack to throw at the resident pelican when he's famished. Which is always. So a box of 30+ to keep on standby in the freezer would be good.

I am not buying waffles. But can switch pea brand. That shouldn't break the bank and they are nicer. Carrefour ones are like tiny green bullets.

Maybe I should stock up on them to use in my catapult when they come to drag me off to the Gulag ?🧐 Birdseye for eating. Carrefour white label for dissident self defence.

Hmm, shall we retain the trust of the nations mothers, or shall we try to appeal to a niche section first year university students, all of whom buy own brand food and most of whom are vegan?

And who, despite their mutterings about womb transplants, are very unlikely to EVER be buying the food for a family. Because these tedious bits of womanhood are only for XX women.

The only peas I buy are Birdseye. If Birdseye are not available then I don't buy peas. There are no acceptable substitutes.

My DC seem to be growing up to be equally discerning. Which I am sure they will pass onto their own DC when the time comes. Generations of loyal Birdseye pea eaters.

I ❤️ Birdseye steam fresh veg. Perfect wee portions of a mix of tasty veggies. We eat loads in this house, as well as fish fingers and chicken dippers.

Also I’m forever banging on about the ziplock bags for the peas! Pure genius!

Fishfinger sandwiches need doorstep slices of squidgy white bread. Or granary. I'll allow granary. But the crust mustn't be too crunchy. The crunch comes from the crumbed coating of the fishfingers.
