This is the billboard message - ‘Woman; wʊmən/(noun) adult human female.’

I wonder if the person paying for this will be prosecuted for a hate crime for that message?

They'll never let that happen. Right this very minute they're searching and phoning and organising to try to prevent such hate-filled notions being put in the public's head.

TBH I wish the poster hadn't been publicised on here before it was actually in place.

It wouldn't be done in public though, would it? It'd be all sneaky 'over cups of tea' pressure on ad agencies or billboard renters. Combined with phone and email non-stop pressure. Haven't we seen all those tactics over and over again?

You'd think so, but nothing that's happened so far has shocked anyone enough to want to side with biology and the hated group of women who believe it exists.

Thinking about your point Charlie, you're right. Imagine the bad press that an ad agency would receive if they pulled an ad saying 'women are adult human females' because they thought it was hate speech. It would definitely be an own goal by those who want to deny biology.

Ooh, now I really want them to try to get it removed on the grounds of hate speech.
