Is it quite easy to get locum a&e work? In my field it's easier for 'problematic' employees to get agency work than permanent contracts as agency work is usually in struggling departments that can't recruit and are desperate for bodies at any cost.
I might speculate that locum in a&e might be similar...?

The Adrian parody twitter account just made me laugh so hard I woke the baby up! Oops.

His pinned tweet is about how wrong it is to take the piss out of vulnerable people. So it's basically an invitation for everyone to post screenshots of his many piss takes of vulnerable people (lots of people have) and his tweeting history is fucking awful - taking the piss out of people with mental health issues, cancer, the way people look etc. It's still up, how stupid do you have to be to do that? I just can't believe he's a doctor.

It's a shame but there's a new junior doctor who bears a passing resemblance to Mr Horrid (albeit slightly better glasses).

Is there something I don't know about that sex shop? Don't sex shops sell sex toys? The vast majority of which are focused on pleasuring women?

I presume the 'sex shop' critique is based on the idea that we're anti-'sex work' and anti-porn. Therefore anything that speaks to sex positively is verboten. Because we hate sex. Or something.

How little they understand women. I remember fondly checking out the merchandise with a close girlfriend. Had a giggle made some purchases. Laughed even harder telling our OH of our exploits.

Anything which contributes to the sum of human happiness is good by me.

We're not 'sex-negative', you dolts... I'd say 'positive sex positive'. Whatever freely consenting adults choose to do for their mutual pleasure is absolutely fine, isn't it?

Radical feminism is anti porn and highly critical of BDSM both of which you'll find in the average sex shop. However Posie isn't a radical feminist AFAIK and the gender critical movement is broad and inclusive of all sorts. They really don't like this (see all the slurs against hands across the aisle, calling them a far right hate group etc) because it shows they can't paint GC as a loony feminist fringe movement!

On a more serious note. The arson discussions make me frightened for my UK sisters.

I find it very strange that he has left his pinned tweet up when he is being smashed in the replies.

Fun fact: There were some interesting parallels between that and some things happening here. Harrasment of women (particulary those lower in the medical hierarchy) although gugate was sexual I am absolutely not accusing Dr Harrop of that. Sock puppet accounts. DARVO.

Sweet baby Jesus, that Twitter screenshot talking about "fire risk," with those emojis. WTAF is that conversation? Adrian and friends, DO YOU NOT SEE HOW YOU ARE COMING ACROSS?

He's currently retweeting stuff about women in prisons for things like not paying their TV licence and how they are disproportionately impacted by draconian punishments like this. How does he then not join up the dots about these non violent women potentially being locked up with male rapists?

A short while ago he tweeted that he continues to condemn doxxing, then said it is coming from the following IP address- gave the address and then said he urges others to expose them. Tweet very quickly deleted though.

No unfortunately, I just finished reading it and it disappeared. Looks like he was either setting someone up or trying to get someone harrassed but thought better of it. Why would he know the IP address of the doxxer? I'm kicking myself for not being quicker.

Did he really just try to "doxx the alleged doxxer"? And I agree, why would he have an IP address for them? This is all very unsettling.

Arranfan Haven't heard back from the Responsible Officer, I also wrote to the Dean of his training Deanery who wrote back that they were passing it to his RO.
I think I may tweet her via my work twitter account. I can't imagine senior doctors I know not telling him to get off Twitter and do some work. Sometimes I wonder if there is a poor, earnest, hardworking dr beavering away completely oblivious to the fact some vile person has set up a twitter account in his name and is doing his best to discredit him and cause trouble. But then he wouldn't be on TV would he.
