Cross over from the Green Party terf blocker stuff.

Harrop and his merry band of TRAs are trying to convince Caroline Lucas that it's all the fault of evil terfs really.

So there's Harrop, known harrasser of gender critical women, Terf Blocker, known for lass blocking and reporting of GC women, and LisaQuestions who identified David Challenor's victim

There's something wrong with him. He's gone the way of Madigan ie it's kinder not to look.

TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 30/09/2018 12:04

Re the company - no idea whether this is true or not but I did see another doctor say on Twitter that anybody who does locum work sets up a company so it's the company that invoices for the work done. Can anyone who is a doctor or NHS finance person confirm or deny this?

I complained to the GMC about Harrop weeks ago and have never got a response. I'll be making another attempt to chase it up this week as it's now well over their stated turnaround for an initial response.

Datun · 30/09/2018 13:02

I agree with that. And soon he will be just as irrelevant.

ThefusilliJerry · 30/09/2018 13:47

One reason to register as a company for locum work would be to minimise your liability to income tax.
Nice look for a lefty

NicoAndTheNiners · 30/09/2018 14:05

Last heard he was doing long term locus work in Scarborough?

Don’t think all locus set up a business. It’s possible just to put in a time sheet for shifts worked, get paid for them and the tax is deducted by the hospitals payroll as if you were a normal employee. I do bank shifts at a hospital and that’s what I do.

MrsBertBibby · 30/09/2018 14:10

anybody who does locum work sets up a company so it's the company that invoices for the work done.

That's certainly what locum solicitors are encouraged to do. When I was locumming the agents were claiming it would reduce my effective tax rate to single figures.

I stayed as self employed and paid the tax.

QuackPorridgeBacon · 30/09/2018 17:04

arranfan That poem was wonderful and very simply but straight to the point. I think it needs more people reading it. The more I went on the more annoyed I got at the child like begging to make women say what they want to hear. It was well done.

The gift that keeps giving. Another parody account.

SPOFS · 02/10/2018 05:33

He doesn't need a parody account. He's enough of a joke as it is.

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 02/10/2018 07:49

That Twitter account is a hoot.

OVAgroundWOMBlingfree · 02/10/2018 11:53

I keep wondering what this guy has on someone high up in the TRA/LGBTQOOPPPP+ gang?

Barracker · 02/10/2018 12:29

Is he still at York Hospital?

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 02/10/2018 12:36

Didn't know he was at York. He was previously at Scarborough.

hackmum · 02/10/2018 12:39

He does seem to get around a lot, presumably because he's doing his GP training. At one point he was at a GP practice in Sunderland, but when the Guardian quoted him recently it said he was "an A&E doctor based on Merseyside."

NicoAndTheNiners · 02/10/2018 13:33

I don't think he's doing his GP training. On the register he isnt listed as being on the programme. Sounds like he dropped out the programme and is doing locum work.

BreakWindandFire · 02/10/2018 14:22

I'd just like to say another big 'thank you' to Dr Harassment for getting the Liverpool poster a prominent position in today's London Evening Standard.

hackmum · 02/10/2018 14:42

Sounds like he dropped out the programme and is doing locum work.

Are you allowed to do that? How worrying.

FloralBunting · 02/10/2018 14:54

I know it's slightly churlish, but I admit I'm getting a slight smile from thinking of him as a 'drop out' who can't seem to stick to anything but Tweeting.

Waspnest · 02/10/2018 15:48

So .... is the word 'turd' banned?

TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 02/10/2018 15:54

I suspect it's not the word itself that's banned, it's the use of it in a thread title about a professional person who has a hairtrigger finger on the Report button.

Melamin · 02/10/2018 16:02

thread the third, yes we've edited the title*... is better than the original, although it would be better with 'tread the third'? Grin

BoreOfWhabylon · 02/10/2018 17:41

I just checked the GMC site. He is still listed as being in a GP training programme in the north east. It says this is based on information provided on an annual basis.

Doctors often do locums though (like agency work) as well as their main job, so he could also be doing sessions in a Liverpool A&E or elsewhere.

God knows when he finds time for any doctoring though, he is constantly on twitter.

NicoAndTheNiners · 02/10/2018 19:24

Ah apologies, I misread the line about not being on the GP register. Yes, because he hasnt finished his VTS training, I see there’s a further bit down which when you click on it does say he’s on the GP training scheme.

Dunno why he apparently spends so much time doing locum a&e work then.
