Harrop and his merry band of TRAs are trying to convince Caroline Lucas that it's all the fault of evil terfs really.

Translates as

Interesting possibly disturbing. I'd read it as a case of self-aggrandisement and mansplaining. Perhaps it is possible that having had Labour women removed from office etc. (Dawn?) he really does think he can take down an elected MP or get her de-selected from her party?

He no doubt hopes that CL will 'learn her lesson' about talking to other women.

That is interesting, WomblingWoman - I've occasionally wondered when Harrop needs to start having the post-Shipman fitness-to-practise chat as it's known and if Harrop or the responsible officer had ever raised the issue of Harrop's social media profile and activity there.

It seems very odd behaviour for someone with a professional career.

Even when he's trying to engage with a woman (Caroline Lucas) in a reasonable way in order to gain her compliance he can't help talking down to her. Dunning Kruger in action - he honestly believes that he's more intelligent than anyone with a vagina.

That is excellent news, Wombling. Good to see the GMC taking this seriously.

But I agree with Kat - it is really odd behaviour. Even if you hate women, even if you think feminists are "bitches", even if you are prone to irrational outbursts of rage, surely you would do your very best to keep it all to yourself? I associate those kinds of social media outbursts with people who are barely educated, don't have a job etc, not people doing an important professional job. And especially not at the beginning of your career when you have so much to lose.

I have a small nagging concern. I have to assume that Harrop and the 'responsible officer' have already been notified and had a chat before the complainant was alerted to this development.

If AH has had a chat about the social media activity etc. then why is AH continuing to adopt such attitudes in public and to verbalise them via Twitter?

The panic amongst Harrop and his friends that Caroline Lucas has said that she is going to talk to WPUK is hilarious

A similar thing happened earlier in the year when Brian Paddick said he wished to hear from a range of voices which included WPUK.

The TRAs in the LibDems were very angry.

I often wonder if Adrian has friends in real life? And what they must think of his behaviour on Twitter? Do they agree with him? Or like, what do his parents think? I mean training to be a doctor, that is really something to be proud of for your child. Spending all their time harassing women on Twitter? Not so much....

Reminds me of that "Repeat after me: Transwomen are women" light show in London. They really have no idea how entitled they sound. Not not mention just irritating. Word of warning. Repeat after me.

I'd forgotten why I'd taken such a scunner against his good buddy, Dr Christian, until I watched a repeat of Would I Lie To You and saw him with that pathetic, sad little stuffed monkey. How anyone could have that poor little abused thing in their bedroom is beyond me, it made me want to cry.

I've never understood how he's so rash in his public postings.

Because he's a foolish person whose motivation is to feed a growing ego. Exactly the qualities you would not want to see in a doctor.

I think he's an out and out narcissist.

TBH I'm not even entirely sure how committed to the Trans cause he is (he certainly doesn't have much time or courtesy for those who identify as Transexual) - rather it's simply a cause he can hijack to elevate his own personal platform.

He thinks he's successful because he's attracted a reasonable following on SM (mainly hardcore Trans Activists) but fails to see the means by which he's done so is also his undoing.

The tweets that have gained this following are also the ones that really should (and will as more people emerge from the trans coma) stop anyone really taking him seriously in the end.

He can keep cleaning up his timeline (as he often does) but those examples of misogyny are still out there on the internet and each new one just points to a weight of evidence against him that shows him for who he really is.

Glad to see Glinner going after him here.

Mind, there was some extensive apologising and deletion going on after Harrop & Christian were self-adulating about their wokeness and the stupidity of those who don't grok cultural relativism and its role in underage/forced marriages etc.

So - they are capable of accepting correction, from a woman, no less, on this very female issue.
