Previous thread here:

Will post links to AC's public statement and Caroline Lucas's appalling white wash job in a moment, but for me, Andrew Gilligan nails it yet again:

BettyDuMonde

I can remember women here talking about this very issue. Women on sex chat lines who regularly, daily, would have been phoned up with a male rape victim fantasy.

Also women on crisis lines, who could recognise within seconds, men who said they had been the victim of a rape, when they were simply getting off on it.

Speaking to so many women who had actually been raped, made the distinction between fact and fantasy immediately obvious.

I'm sure many men think they are the very first person to have tried this on. And therefore it sounds authentic.

BettyDuMonde · 04/09/2018 19:04

At £2.99 a minute in the mid 90s, I’m not surprised some of the dirty bastards went for a free phone helpline instead :/

Selfish cocks.

RedToothBrush · 04/09/2018 19:05

Ok, It seems I have an extra 20 mins I wasn't expecting (DH and DS have disappeared early, so I have time by myself). Here's a bi

BBC: So you are categorically are saying, you did not know your father was facing child sex offences when you named him as your election agent

AC: Correct. I knew that he was facing serious offences, but not that they were involving a child.

BBC: Why then, was he on your election leaflets, but his name had been changed on those leaflets.

AC: So we contacted the electoral commission because my Dad's legal name is obviously David Challenor, but many people know him as 'Baloo' from Scouting, to wheelchair basket ball to his running events through park run and the half marathon, and everything. The Electoral Commision clarified that on promotional materials it is best to use the name he is commonly known by because it is there so that should there be an issue with the promotional material, with my campaign, should there have to be post delivered to my election agent, that people know who to write to.

END OF PART 1.

RedToothBrush · 04/09/2018 19:05

sorry that should read here's a bit more. type fail, I'm rushing.

doedoe90303811 · 04/09/2018 19:06

So, get the court transcript, find out whether Aimee was at trial and/or would have known. It seems an incredible claim.

VickyEadie · 04/09/2018 19:10

Scenarios I don't think are hard to imagine:

Police detective: "So, we're here to discuss issues about your dad. Your social worker's here as to support you..."

"Mum, what did you mean about the 'little slut' thing you posted on Facebook?"

"Dad - why are you being taken to court?"

"Mum - why is Dad in court?"

"Right Mum - time we set off for court..."

EnormousDormouse · 04/09/2018 19:12

Dear god the stuff compiled by doe doe on twitter is sordid.
What a great job they have done to cast light on the seedy underbelly of transactivism.

thebewilderness · 04/09/2018 19:15

It is possible there is a network that is being revealed despite the vigorous deletions in the public record.

doedoe90303811 · 04/09/2018 19:15

Aimee has been scrubbing Twitter by the looks of things.

E.g., this is a Tweet in reply to a trip by Nekosune (who has certain, ahem, hobbies) & Aimee (who may share those, ahem, hobbies) to Wagamama.

twitter.com/wagamama_uk/status/997209782661545986

However the original tweet has been deleted.

Part 2

BBC: I asked her, how this had all affected her. Understandably, this will raise questions about your own judgment, questions about who you put your trust in. Its damaged you hasn't it?

AC: It has damaged me. But, its actually damaged me much more on a personal level. I'm 20 and this is my father we are on about. And its devastating, to think that someone that I thought I knew, is capable of such offenses. And this past few weeks has been a time of almost grief because its made me question my childhood. And

BBC: In what way

AC: Because obviously because he's my Dad and I've built up a relationship with him, and y'know I've done stuff with him, I've done politics with him. And you question, everything. And then. I probably won't see him ever again, because he's been sentenced to 22 years and things like that. ANd so its almost a period of grief.

BBC: Do you feel let down?

AC: In a way yeah. Because I'm being judged because of his actions. ANd I've had to step away from so much, but its right that I step away, where there is questions over those judgements, so I've said, I'll be continuing to work with the Verita investigationinto Green Party safeguarding responsibilities. I'll be providing them with the conversations with the actual commissions etc, and will be trying to work forwardsto work out what could have been done better, what should have been done better.

BBC: What about your role in public life now, your role in the green party, your resigning from the party about this suggests you are going to take a step back from public life. What indeed will you do.

AC: I wouldn't say I was stepping back fully from public life. I am taking a break defnitely, but equally I'm a trans person publically notable and that won't wash away. That doesn't just stop at the drop of a hat. I'm quite lucky, I'm 20. I've contested elections at local and national level. I've been involved in global politics. I've been an expert at the Oxford Union. I've done so much in such a short timeframe. I don't think I'm going to live a boring life. Theres still so much more to be done. I've got so much time. And I'm still going to be speaking out loudly for Coventry, for Coventry's residents, for LGBT equality as a member of Stonewalls Trans Advisory Group and on other matters. I've always enjoyed speaking out for what I believe in. Standing up for what matters. ANd I'm going to continue to do that. Just clearly not under the Green Party banner.

THE END

And I really must fly now.

Or am I? Confused

Grandiosity personified.

Maybe cleaning that up too. Two comment on there one of which is a big penis drawn from punctuations.

Kiwi farms is brutal. They don't hold back. I have only recently taken a look at it and it's pretty shocking

Sorry to sound like a pearl-clutcher but I've led a sheltered life

You're not a pearl clutcher. I have not had a sheltered life. Some of my former colleagues in Bangkok were open peadophiles. I lost work because I would not be sanguine about sexually abused, prostituted 8 year olds being left in the school's reception for them to collect once they finished teaching.

Just trawling the tweets and other bits and bobs, to connect the dots between people, has an affect. I went for nap and got stuck in a two hour "unable to escape loop" of surreal, disturbing shit, with people who resembled and sounded like the Ugly Sister Bar Manager in Shrek. Except they appeared to be made of sponge.

Even my "lost faith in humanity a long time ago" psyche needed a clear out.

You're not a perl clutcher. Just a normal person doing what people should do when their instincts ping. Listen, and take note. Because if they don't listen and take note they'll end up like other colleagues of mine. Who silenced their instincts as they left work, and "adjusted" to walking past children waiting to be raped, as their "new normal".

Nobody needs a new normal of that kind to creep in by degrees, via

  • a carefully, gradually lowered bar of what must be accepted
  • a carefully, gradual erosion of Truth withnsocial sanctions for people who don't won¡t convert to the faith

...and for that new normal become our reality. So don't you feel for a minute you are over-reacting and a prude. People like you, preferably in their millions, are about the only hope we've got.

I know that might sound dramatic. But never under estimate people's ability to "adjust" to absolutely horrible shit, and then "adjust" some more as the (intended from the onset) mission creep marches forward. And what it can mean for the most vulnerable in society.

The world is largely a horrible place. Predators are a lot more common than most people realise. And they have long wanted out from the shadows.

Not cos they genuinely care what we think of them.

My experience was they believe we are fascists (cos that's what they called me) who are all authoritarians out to stop their lovely healthy love, and out to stop them from giving the poor succour via employment opportunities. But they do want far, far fewer barriers to access potential victims. With far, far, far fewer risks. And they don't think there is anything wrong with that objective. To me they presented it as anti-fascist social justice before social justice ever became a thing.

And they have been wanting this for a very, very long time. This is not their first foray into achieving their aims.

The trouble is, by using Trans Issues as Trogen horse, this time they are getting close.

*NB i am in no way accusing all, or any specific transpersons of being peadophiles, or paedopile sympathisers. Some are. But the bulk money and the power over political entities behind the TRA movement is, IMO, coming from men who largely have no interest in frocks.

But they do have a lot of interest in what TRA success politically, socially and legally will leave in its wake. Namely the erosion of hard won protections, a lowered disgust response from the public, a weaponised version of Socially Acceptable Lip Service to A New Enforced Truth and children's ability to consent to life changing actions to be lowered as far as possible.

And all of that is happening right now.

Troon
Someone who says they are the opposite gender, but do not make any attempt to pass of as one, typically gets mad when they are misgendered.
