Name changed so as not to link previous posts. I've had a response to my message to the GP about my resignation saying:
"Thank you for your email and for raising these issues with us.
A reply with a detailed response to all your points will be sent shortly. In the meantime, we have resigned your membership as requested and no further membership payments will be taken from your account.
Thank you for all of your previous support of the Green party."
Not sure whether this is a standard reply, and whether I'm going to get a standard response. Anyone else had anything?
My first reaction was that I don't want a response if it's going to be transwomen are women, I identified in my message to them that I was a survivor of child and adult abuse / sexual violence, and although I didn't say this to them I am finding that I am being triggered by being told I can't refuse consent to men in my personal space, so more of the same won't be helpful. But I am also curious as to what their response will be, so I guess I'll hold off on replying and see what I get.
Anyway it has made me feel better that my message has been read and acknowledged instead of ignored.
