Here are some threads:

Here are some other relevant threads about contacting your MP, even though I think they focus more on letter-writing it may still be useful:

I'd probably just stick to one thing, I think.

As it is an MSP, I'd refer to this article (take a print out):

www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/news/local/fife/702003/fife-teen-on-sex-offenders-register-after-supermarket-child-attacks/

  1. What would the MSP's words be to those girls?
  1. And the parents of those girls?
  1. Why are the rights of male people to enter a female space more important than those girls' rights to safety?

I'd just stick with those 3 questions to be honest.

The MSP can't say it would never happen (it did happen) and they can't say that you are transphobic (because you never mentioned trans).

They will flannel and waffle away of course but with a bit of luck it will get them thinking about how they would answer it when the media address those same questions to them.

I have also heard that it's best to keep things focused.
In the interest of extra material, here are some more resources -

Itsallgoingtobefine recommended leaving a leaflet from:

www.sages.org.uk/publications/sages-factsheet.html

sexmatters.org.uk (has downloadable leaflet)

Here are multiple threads that are Scotland-specific, that may be of interest?

I might also suggest that one resource that might be helpful to leave for the MP is this legal analysis of changing the category "sex"
