Jean, if you are reading, my heart goes out to you. I have no words that can comfort you but I will support you as long as possible.

Ovarian cancer is brutal. Please familiarise yourself with the symptoms - there is no screening test and symptoms are subtle (as Jean has found) so it’s rarely found early:

Jean - you're a huge inspiration to so many people. Sending you love and strength

Ovarian cancer hit my mother. It's the cancer that women and only women bear - don't tell me you know what it is like to feel like a woman if you don't have a woman's body. Just, no.

Jean is strong for other women and now she can put that strength into her own battle. All of us have special strength because we bear so much more. Men are sometimes afraid of that strength.

Very sorry to hear it. You are being very brave.
