When you see threads plopped into FWR, especially the curious repeat of well worn subjects, I recommend you check for poster history before engaging.

There are a number of posts/posters/threads being referenced on twitter with screen shots & flagging in either MNHQ or outlets to try & get articles commissioned.

OP posts:

Poppyred85 · 01/08/2018 23:10

incessant stream of brain farting Grin
Well there’s a new favourite phrase to try out tomorrow.

AntiqueOlive · 01/08/2018 23:47

And again

Iused2BanOptimist · 01/08/2018 23:54

I'm thinking a new thread on Abusive TRA's looks suspect.

Waddlelikeapenguin · 02/08/2018 00:33

Agree & bump

Dottierichardson · 02/08/2018 01:47

I read that thread and now all I can think about is carrot cake.

JuneOsbourne · 02/08/2018 08:10

God there's been a lot of this over the past couple of days. Even worse in some ways are the derailers who keep jumping on established threads. They are such transparent attempts to make the thread unreadable so lurkers won't bother to post while simultaneously goading regulars to post something they'll later regret. It's bloody tiresome.

Anyhoo, it's prompted a long overdue name change, which I'm sad about as I had my old one a long time. But I'm pretty sure in the early days, I revealed some identifying info, so change it must.

Mind you, any potential doxxers would have had to trawl through pages of angst about my miscarriages, birth injuries and breastfeeding highs and lows which would no doubt have been horribly triggering. Hmm

FermatsTheorem · 02/08/2018 09:44

Time for another bump I think on the back of the "why won't you understand that poor sex offenders probably had horrible childhoods" thread.

Dottierichardson · 02/08/2018 11:16

still no carrot cake but Jaffa Cakes in the house so hope is on the horizon.

Dottierichardson · 02/08/2018 12:00

On the topic for this thread, this article features MN screenshots from earlier in the week:

EmpressOfSpartacus · 02/08/2018 12:20

Ah. The "penises don't rape people, people rape people" argument.

So CursedE is saying that the fact that nearly all violent / sexual offences are committed by males is not a reason for women to have spaces where males aren't allowed. This could be an argument to ditch sex-segregation completely, or it could also mean that since NAMALT, anybody who has a penis but does not define themselves as a man can still reasonably be expected to go in with their own sex. Because concern about male violence is prejudiced (and besides they can just call the police).

BraveAndStunning · 02/08/2018 12:24

Don't give that cursed fuck the clicks.

tinytemper66 · 02/08/2018 12:37

I had to google who he is but he is an man who thinks he is now a woman or rather not a woman or a man who has been accused of sexually assaulting someone. Am I right?

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 02/08/2018 12:47

Empress, even more damming for cursed (who can't be that bright) the penis argument is specifically used alongside that old US gun nut favourite ( 'guns don't kill people').

It shouldn't need spelling out, but as cursed obviously likes hanging around here collecting quotes, I shall do.

The reason most countries with restrict ownership of guns and prevent them being carried is to stop people shooting other people with them. Because for every 1000 law abiding gun owners, one nutter can do a whole lot of killing. Similarly, the reason women do not want penis wavers in spaces where they are vulnerable is because for every 1000 normal lovely decent penis holders, one violent rapist can do a whole lot of damage. And unlike guns, they can't leave the penis at home.

FloralBunting · 02/08/2018 13:28

Bumping, because honestly, I've got shit to do and no patience at all with the big swinging bollocks trying to entertain themselves today.

But I will add an addendum to the public service announcement, and that's to say to lurkers and posters alike - don't doubt your instincts. People who dismiss your concerns, tell you women are in no danger, and if they are it's not that important anyway, will set off alarm bells. Listen to that gut check.

madja · 02/08/2018 13:43

FFS, haven't they got anything else to do, other than stop women from talking. (Clue, no)

PilarTernera · 02/08/2018 15:41

Alice I am loving the image of 1000 normal lovely decent penis holders.

FermatsTheorem · 02/08/2018 17:25

Always important to distinguish between the lovely penis holding men and the not so lovely men who like holding their penises in public (and so as to be properly inclusive, those lovely ladies who like holding their own penises in public cough JB cough).

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 02/08/2018 19:16

I'm imagining them like toothbrush holders. And allowing the woman to choose which one she picks to clean her teeth (sorry, wine!)

sociopathsunited · 02/08/2018 19:21

I don't have carrot cake (where's the sad face emoji) but I do have.......

Wait for it......

Lemon curd doughnuts.

Fuck me, they're good.

EmpressOfSpartacus · 02/08/2018 20:23

Is anyone else reminded of the penis beaker thread?

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 02/08/2018 20:25

😂😂😂

What have I done!!!!

Sarahconnor1 · 02/08/2018 20:33

Lemon curd doughnuts

Whoa back up. Have I been missing these all my life?

sociopathsunited · 02/08/2018 20:55

Tescos bakery

Five for 65p.

Ereshkigal · 02/08/2018 21:01
