www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6003331/Britains-official-transgender-student-officer-suspended.html

"Shocking images on the site show an individual flashing while sitting in a train carriage, in a public park and at a bus stop.

Another photograph shows male genitals being exposed in an office close to a curved wooden desk that is strikingly similar to a picture of a work desk that Ms Bradley posted on her Facebook page. "

The photo have been archived on archive.is, you can search there under the domain exhbitionizm.tumblr.com and include lots of flashing shots.

Bradley has commented:

" I appreciate at this time there is a lot of speculation about my conduct and I am able to tell you that I am confident that none of my behaviour has been unlawful, and that I have not engaged in sexual activity with anyone, or in the view of anyone, without their consent. "

I’ve seen a few of that Katie’s twitter posts and am not convinced they’re actually a TRA. If they are, they’re not a very good one because they must be doing sterling work in peak transing people. That post about slut shaming the poor flasher is so ridiculous it’s actually funny.

Hangingaroundtheportal · 30/07/2018 07:31

Yes, I wonder from the profile pic and the content of their posts, if they are actually a spoof account. They are certainly a bit of a lone voice on this Jess Bradley thing.

I wonder when Prick News are going to cover it?

NotBadConsidering · 30/07/2018 07:34

Geneva Convention? Which one? There's 4.

Mumsnet = Assad in Syria. It was only a matter of time. Hmm

Hangingaroundtheportal · 30/07/2018 07:35

On Twitter there is a clip of Jess being interviews on Sky News from a couple of weeks ago. The comments are very intetesting: overwhelmingly from men basically saying 'that is a man' and how ridiculous the whole thing is. Some of them would be absolutely what one would call 'transphobic'. (And now of course people are linking the story from yesterday.)

And yet, it's always women who get the shit for being 'anti trans'. The misogyny is so transparent (oh, pardon the pun!)

BadassUnicorn · 30/07/2018 07:44

The Geneva Convention oh FFS Hmm
Someone sounds more than a little testerical.

Grin Testerical should be included in the dictionary GrinGrin

MrsJamin · 30/07/2018 07:45

The Sun are definitely playing a game here with running the story, making you think it's a man with the black silhouette- they know people will realise in the end who the story is about!

ArcheryAnnie · 30/07/2018 07:53

I would remind everyone that trying to deny the rights of trans people for the actions of an individual meets the definition of collective punishment, a war crime under the Geneva convention.

This is kind of magnificent.

I am sure it's only a matter of time before genderskeptic lends their fine legal mind to what crimes have been committed by TRAs sending death threats while posing with baseball bats, threatening to rape women with serrated dildos, punching women in the street then claiming that it's justified because they were "provoked" into it, and so on.

I'm sure genderskeptic's fine legal mind can also explain what rights Mumsnetters here are trying to deny Jess Bradley, because I haven't seen anyone here denying Bradley's rights.

There are women who are rapists and sex offenders, some of them are trans.

If there are "women" who have been recorded as committing rape, then all of them will be trans, because rape requires the possession of a penis by the rapist. Feel free to report me to the Hague for making this observation.

ToeToToe · 30/07/2018 07:54

"unfettered access to women and girls in various states of undress? No one has that right."

Genderskeptic wrote: Unless communal changing areas stopped existing, it seems that women and girls have that right...

What a very, very interesting take on this. Very illuminating.

It's not a right - it's a sex-segregated changing area - where - until quite recently - women and girls could have been guaranteed not to see a flasher exposing their penis in there - lady-peen or otherwise.

This is not about trans rights. This is about men's desires to get in with the women - it was always going to be hijacked by the flashers and voyeurs.

People are still not willing to ask the difficult questions in safeguarding, to consider 'what if this adult is not in good faith', to risk saying things that might anger and upset the adults involved, and in effect prioritise being supportive of the adults' interests and emotional needs over the safety of the child.

Now THIS should be written out a thousand times and projected on parliament.

We are prioritising the feelings of adults over the safeguarding of children.

Lessons will be learned. Except they never are, and the climate of fear over speaking up remains. We have had SWs on here saying they’d lose their jobs if they spoke up against some of the safeguarding loopholes created by all this. Guide leaders being pushed out for speaking up. Academics scared of speaking. NHS staff scared of speaking.

It’s a disaster waiting to happen.

Firstly, I think we have a hyperbole winner of the day, collect your souvenir mug, chequebook and pen from the cloakroom on your way out...

Secondly which rights?

Genuinely interested in the apecidic rights you think are being denied here and how that amounts to collective punishment.

Thirdly Which Geneva convention/protocol?

Fourthly are we at war now? Or have we always been at war with Oceania? OH MY GOD this is why the stockpiling threads are up on chat isn’t it?

Scurries off to stock up on water and spam...

AsAProfessionalFekko · 30/07/2018 07:59

Geneva Convenion? I'd be right onto the European Court of Human Rights or the UN myself. Or the Pope. Maybe the Queen.

Bowlofbabelfish · 30/07/2018 08:01

ECHR maybe.

They can have a chat about the birth certificates being violent, since ECHR says they’re a basic human right for each child...

Sarahconnor1 · 30/07/2018 08:05

I thought genderskeptics post were a spoof at first, until the later posts.

Absolute gold Grin

This is a useful commentary on recent events with some interesting links:

Gallus Mag writes:
'First elected NUS Trans Officer Jess Bradley suspended under investigation for alleged public flashing, indecent exposure'

(Extract)
"Jess Bradley has also mounted several protests against Gay Pride marches over the years, including (but not limited to) Berlin 2009, Manchester 2010, Sheffeld 2017, Glasgow 2017.

You can view Jess Bradley in action before his arrest at Glasgow Pride 2017 here: (Warning- this is very funny. May laugh out loud. Watch the guy (Bradley) in the purple backpack)"

My favourite part of the post above:

Jess Bradley, age 30, “identifies as” a bisexual “Non-Binary Woman” and does not appear to have undergone any type of transgender medical process, although he does frequently wear blue nail polish.

20pencepiece · 30/07/2018 08:26

Really think this needs posting on AIBU or chat.

Sadly I appear to be a thread killer and my posts are usually ignored so pointless of me to do it. Plus my last post was deleted for breaking guidelines despite it telling everyone real facts.

littlbrowndog · 30/07/2018 08:34

I like that bit in the YouTube wher3 the guys in skirts (kilts) just totally pushed Bradley right out of the way

Xenia · 30/07/2018 08:35

Most of us would agree that the actions of one do not define others but here it illustrates tehre is a big category of men with a penis who are exhibitionists (always have been - we had them in the 1960s, flashers and the like - we had one at our local park our mother warned us about) and look for every opportunity to get ito ut. Many of the concerned people in the UK who do not want self definition for trans (which is a ludicrous concept) and support existing English law just want to keep women and girls without a penis protected from those kinds of people. None of us are saying all trans people with a penis are like this just that there are enough of them or men who would pretend to be them to get into women's spaces that we need to be on our guard.

SimonBridges · 30/07/2018 08:35

There are women who are rapists and sex offenders, some of them are trans.

First - rape requires a penis so the only rape that can be comited by a woman must be by a trans woman.
Second - so what. There are children who rape and sexually abuse. Does that mean that all children should be thrown under the bus as well?

HollyGibney · 30/07/2018 08:37

Agree that a much more articulate poster than me needs to get this into AIBU. This could be a game changer imo.

boatyardblues · 30/07/2018 08:38

^ There you go 20p - curse lifted. Grin

BertrandRussell · 30/07/2018 08:38

It's important to remember that Jess's vagina looks like a penis.

boatyardblues · 30/07/2018 08:39

Wisecrack fail! Sad

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 30/07/2018 08:42

That video is wonderful Grin I love the way the band just plough on through.

WPUK should hire those guys to run interference at meetings.
