www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6003331/Britains-official-transgender-student-officer-suspended.html

"Shocking images on the site show an individual flashing while sitting in a train carriage, in a public park and at a bus stop.

Another photograph shows male genitals being exposed in an office close to a curved wooden desk that is strikingly similar to a picture of a work desk that Ms Bradley posted on her Facebook page. "

The photo have been archived on archive.is, you can search there under the domain exhbitionizm.tumblr.com and include lots of flashing shots.

Bradley has commented:

" I appreciate at this time there is a lot of speculation about my conduct and I am able to tell you that I am confident that none of my behaviour has been unlawful, and that I have not engaged in sexual activity with anyone, or in the view of anyone, without their consent. "

Toby is taking TGLWGH to quite remarkable heights.

Wanting to merge two points here, first by Hangingaroundtheportal

People always argue that if a transwoman was the flash you in the changing rooms you could still call the police. But the whole point is that if the law changes then any man can go into a woman's changing room and expose their penis by 'getting changed' and there isn't a thing you could do. Flashing isn't always about a man walking up to a woman and exposing himself with a flourish, it's about knowing that people can see their dick, potentially see their dick and getting a kick out of it. It's about making others uncomfortable.

and secondly by Bumbungo

So all the TRAs going on about how 'TERFs' are obsessed with genitals turns out to be another DARVO eh? Who knew?

Both good points. And if you put them together, what you have is the "just getting changed" situation, followed by a DARVO "and this horrible woman stared at my stunning and brave ladycock triggering my dysphoria". Don't laugh, it's the logical progression of all of this. Not to mention that part of the 'transition' seems to include litigiousness. And/or a crowdfunder.

I've just Tweeted Owen Jones asking if he has any comments

You’re getting blocked in 5... 4... 3... Grin

VickyEadie · 29/07/2018 16:07

I got blocked by OJ, LM and various others and I never even posted on their tweets.

They clearly have a little team of minion whose sole job is to monitor feminist threads, identify people who might be mean to their leaders and then block them.

EmpressOfSpartacus · 29/07/2018 16:09

People always argue that if a transwoman was the flash you in the changing rooms you could still call the police.

Also, in a recent thread somebody suggested that if a feminine penis owner was in the men's changing room & got attacked, they could always call the police.

The person of that description on the thread immediately gave several reasons why that wouldn't work, but didn't seem to like the idea that in that case, it wasn't a viable option for women either.

MipMipMip · 29/07/2018 16:13

Anyone who likes their penis enough to display it in public does not come across as dysphoric.

You have just summed the whole thing up perfectly.

I actually spat out my tea at this. Grin

Serious point, well made.

iamawoman · 29/07/2018 16:26

Well yes, they will blame it on the struggle with the female identity trapped in a male body no doubt or resort to the paedophilia excuse which is always anxiety or depression which caused them to view children being abused for their sexual gratification.

TerfsUp · 29/07/2018 16:26

I am less optimistic because people are already so invested in believing nonsense that they will deny rather than admit they were wrong.

I agree.

TRAs and their handmaidens will distort this and call anyone who is concerned about Bradley's behaviour bigots. It will only add to the myth of transwomen being the most oppressed group in the history of world, with the majority of that oppression coming from T*RFs.

The whole sad affair will end up with Bradley being hailed as a victim and the TRA movement being strengthened.

Indierockandroll · 29/07/2018 16:27

**I think the defence will be:

"Jess was pushed to breaking point by evil TERFs and Jess's mental health suffered as a result. This manifested itself in behaviour that was not ideal, but perhaps understandable given the huge stress that Jess was under."

Summat like that anyway.**

Pop I think you're bang on the money there!

LighthouseSouth · 29/07/2018 16:28

unless I've misunderstood something..

the pictures were posted online voluntarily by Jess, is that correct?

if so, how on earth can anyone be talking about privacy?!

EmpressOfSpartacus · 29/07/2018 16:28

You can't unsee it once you've seen it
Gender's all about the penis
Balls, prostate and XY, however they identify
Gender's all for men

Yes.

How do feminists feel about being on the same "side" as publications such as the Daily Mail in this debate?

I'm not on the "side" of any media outlet. The Guardian can go fuck itself as much as The Mail can.

miri1985 · 29/07/2018 16:32

Does anyone else find it odd that someone whos claim to fame is being a student officer has "personal brand" in their twitter handle?

That phrase is only something I've heard associated with major stars, talk about delusions of grandeur. Wonder what kind of world domination they were envisaging before this caused everything to crash

LangCleg · 29/07/2018 16:33

Oh crikey. I can't stop laughing. I'll let you guess which bon mots hereabouts in particular that I have found particularly mirth-triggering.

Good things come to she who waits.

Didn't Monty Python toss off a penis song?

When there's an evil dictatorship, people should be united to stand up against it, be theyTory, Labour, Lib Dem, broadsheet, tabloid.

However, I am disappointed in The Guardian, BBC, Independent.

I remember The Mail reporting on other stories that none of the left wing press were too scared to touch, regarding The Wolf Pack and other women getting raped in Germany.

Indierockandroll · 29/07/2018 16:36

I mean all of the left wing press were too scared to cover - none of them touched it.

BadassUnicorn · 29/07/2018 16:37

I don't think the government - or the general public - should be allowed to forget that they have been taking advice from this person.

^^This! The government should be investigating this issue too and getting to the bottom of it. It can put women and girls into dangerous situations, all because of the word of a (will have to say alledged so my comment doesnt get reported) pervert that likes to flash their dick, encourage all sorts of pervy behaviour and blog about it!

NameChangedAgain18 · 29/07/2018 16:37

Brave Jess will probably end up being Labour’s first trans MP. That will be truly progressive. All you bigots need to STFU and applaud her for expressing her womanliness in public. Only really brave and beautiful women display their dicks. You’re all just inadequate. Freud was right about penis envy.

HoldMeCloserTonyDanza · 29/07/2018 16:38

IMO Bradley will not be defended explicitly, rather forced to resign and TRAs will never mention her again, Stalin-style.

Any attempt to bring this situation up as an example of predatory males targeting bathrooms will be dismissed as “holding all TW responsible for the actions of one”.

Ereshkigal · 29/07/2018 16:39

The Guardian was a disgrace on Cologne.

Precisely.
