me too Rufustheyawningreindeer but one can only. ask.

Elletorro · 07/07/2018 23:50

We know what rape culture is don’t we?

How can lesbian groups use the sex exemptions in the Equality Act to keep themselves safe from rape culture once self-Id comes in? These aren’t rich organisations that can afford to defend themselves against legal challenges.

bigoldscaredycat · 07/07/2018 23:50

The clue is, if two people are in a sexual relationship and there’s a chance one of the people might get the other person pregnant....

It is not a homosexual relationship.

Pannalash · 07/07/2018 23:54

Well said bigold

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 07/07/2018 23:55

Yep

Spot on biggold

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 07/07/2018 23:56

that woman was in a relationship with a trans woman and clearly stated to you she thought they were a woman what would. you say then?

Not sure why you think this is such a 'gotcha' question given that LITERALLY THE WHOLE THREAD IS ABOUT US ALL SAYING THAT THAT EXACT SCENARIO IS NOT A LESBIAN RELATIONSHIP.

UglyCathKidstonBag · 07/07/2018 23:58

SuperLoudPoppingAction

Instructive? How?

ErrolTheDragon · 07/07/2018 23:59

Yes, bigoldscaredycat. The 'gay' bloke in the first couple probably ought to choose one of the more inclusive sexual orientation identities - bi being the simplest but maybe there's a more specific term if you are attracted to both sexes but only masculine 'gender identity'?

Bespin · 08/07/2018 00:00

CertainHalfDesertedStreets I genuinely don't think it's a gotcha question I want to know if people will say the things they say on here in the real world to real. People thst is all there is no right or wrong answer its not a trick

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 08/07/2018 00:04

Well people are polite and nice and don't always say what they think/mean/know to be right do they? So I can't see how it helps.

I was at an event the other day where a guy behaved like an absolute dick. There were 100 of us there. We all thought he was being a dick. No-one said he was a dick. But we all knew it.

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 08/07/2018 00:05

No-one said to him that he was a dick. We all said it to each other afterwards.

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 08/07/2018 00:07

Twitter is awash with straight women claiming to be 'queer' because their male ex liked to dress in clothes culturally associated with femininity.

Folx, if you are female and your sexual partner is male then you are in a straight relationship, get over it

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 08/07/2018 00:07

Depends on the variables as well certain

Is this a random person i met in the street? Is it my great aunt marge? Is it my hairdresser who is currently wielding a pair of scissors ? Or my best friend from school?

All may require a different response

TellsEveryoneRealFacts · 08/07/2018 00:08

People don't normally tell people they are dicks in real life, due to the dick probably not being able to cope with helping told they are a dick and so they just keep on and on being a dick.

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 08/07/2018 00:09

so would. you tell them that if not then stop doing it on here.

Oh right. We're not allowed to say things on the Internet unless we would confront people with them IRL Confused

Pop over to AIBU with that one. I'd take Gin You'll be busy.

Women are assaulted for doing so on a regular basis. Some had a bottle thrown at them today at pride for doing it.
Did you miss it?

Bespin · 08/07/2018 00:10

I would love to change society so that people can again tell someone he is being a dick the group would support that person in. doing this.

pachyderm · 08/07/2018 00:11

Straight women calling themselves "queer"...I'm just embarrassed for them Blush

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 08/07/2018 00:11

Yeah. I was going to get to that. But honestly there was just too much to do...

Bespin · 08/07/2018 00:11

I would like to be able to do it online, in forums. To tell people to stop being dicks. Weird huh?

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 08/07/2018 00:14

Yeah, no. That'll be shit.

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 08/07/2018 00:15

Honestly. He was a GIANT COCK though...

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 08/07/2018 00:16

We could develop some sort of mob-based form of re-education, that would sort out all our social problems
