Turn's out being from a single parent family and dissatisfied with my sex roles gives me a medium/high risk...

"Do/Did you prefer playing with toys that belong to the opposite sex?"

Belong?! Belong?!

WTAF?! ARGH.

Hoppinggreen · 29/06/2018 10:42

Ooh, I’m medium to high risk too
I answered no to all the questions about wanting to change my genitals and dress like the opposite sex so I’m not sure how that happened
Think it’s down to the fact that my Dad was a dickhead and I don’t like to flip my hair and do the wafty hands thing

WeAreGerbil · 29/06/2018 10:43

I am a medium. This is what it advises me:

It is common for people to have one or more interests typically associated with the opposite gender. Developing interests and knowledge in some of the same things as those around you of the same sex can help make those relationships much more rewarding.

Hmm
shelentei · 29/06/2018 10:44

Wow way to give people a complex. This is bullshit.

PerryPerryThePlatypus · 29/06/2018 10:46

Well well well I'm a high risk 0n the social part. Prob ably because of asd. I really hope undiagnosed asd girls are not going to be encouraged to medicate.

FlippinFumin · 29/06/2018 10:46

Exactly the same! even though I categorically never ever put I wanted to be the opposite sex or wore clothes of the opposite sex, apparently because I am not happy with the role of women in society and the way we are expected to behave, and grew up in a single parent household, and may have been depressed at some point in my life, I might want to be a man.

Oh the times I have said outloud 'I wish I had been born a man'. But then so did every woman I grew up around, because men went out to work, and women did EVERYTHING else.

Perhaps I should return to the page and get the phone number Wink

AngryAttackKittens · 29/06/2018 10:47

"Are you curious about the anatomy of the opposite sex"

Um, isn't the generally recognized term for this "heterosexual"? Or bisexual, as it may be.

AngryAttackKittens · 29/06/2018 10:49

Also a lot of these are basically "are you lonely, socially isolated, and/or clinically depressed". Which is not necessarily anything to do with "gender".

I got low risk but with medium priority for social issues. I thought the social issue questions were pretty broad and obviously you can answer Yes without gender being the issue.

DieAntword · 29/06/2018 10:51

I got medium risk despite not answering positively answering a single transsexuality question.

YogaDrone · 29/06/2018 10:53

Well fuck me - what a surprise!

^The answers given indicate a Medium to High Risk of Gender Identity Disorder.

Talking to a licensed professional is the only way to be sure, and is the best way to help you resolve any issues you are going through.^

Get me to a nunnery, sorry specialist.

Some of those questions are horribly leading and some are just plain confused Sad what a pile of shite.

littlbrowndog · 29/06/2018 10:57

That is a pack of shite questions

Noqont · 29/06/2018 10:58

Well I'm medium risk too. Even though I'm entirely happy with my female body. But I like to do some things considered manly. So that puts me at risk. What a load of shite. So if my results put me at that, I reckon loads of teenagers will also get that type of answer. Which will lead them to question themselves when they didn't need to. Fucking dangerous and biased questions which comes down on the side of transgender. As usual. They really stop at nothing. But you know, with a transitioned person, there's plenty of money in it for the medical industry. For life, as they will be a patient for life. So you can see why this is. Money and greed. Without caring about the wellbeing of young people.

MipMipMip · 29/06/2018 10:59

I think the last bit of the results is most relevant- get 3 minutes free and 25%off. Way to sell insecurities.Hmm

What a nonsense.

Noqont · 29/06/2018 11:04

That's exactly exactly it mipmip. Its all about the £££££. At the expense of our children and young people. Its so ugly.

seafret · 29/06/2018 11:08

Frightening :( so much wrong with those questions

And of course the answer is to spend moeny with their therapy service. So predatory.

NotBadConsidering · 29/06/2018 11:08

It's typical American pseudoscientific bullshit, a website with no physical home, asking questions in the same way old fashioned mediums did in Victorian times. It's just like those infomercials that say "Are you tired of dusting with the same old duster? Well now you don't have to!" There's so much quackery in the world, it's only reasonable that transgenderism would get caught up in it. Best ignored.

LangCleg · 29/06/2018 11:09

Also a lot of these are basically "are you lonely, socially isolated, and/or clinically depressed". Which is not necessarily anything to do with "gender".

Yes! Or Did your evil parents fail you? - completely designed to entrap troubled adolescents. How vile.

AornisHades · 29/06/2018 11:11

1) Do you like wearing the opposite sex’s clothes, but would be embarrassed if anyone were to see you?

How do I answer that one? Yes I wear comfy clothes from the men's department. Am I embarrased? No.

LangCleg · 29/06/2018 11:11

I got:

The answers given indicate a Low to Medium Risk of Gender Identity Disorder.

Well, duh. Because I'm a woman and society is set up for men. Duh. Obviously I'm not hugely impressed with the role society has imposed for people of my sex.

Some of the right questions given completely the wrong answers. I don't need to change myself - I need to change society.

Offred · 29/06/2018 11:11

This is the most ridiculous test I have ever seen.

I do hope however that since it obviously seems to be trying to drum up business for ‘therapists’ that is why it is ridiculous...

It is however quite shocking that vulnerable people might come across it.

Offred · 29/06/2018 11:18

It is a scam... scammers are getting on board with genderism... how surprising!

Biddlyboo · 29/06/2018 11:19

Medium to high here, also said no to anything to do with changing my sex or being interested in anything trans, but dislike the way society sees women and had a non-existent dad. What a load of crap!

HarshingMyMellow · 29/06/2018 11:22

Awful, damaging and dangerous.

I'm perfectly happy in my female body, but I'm still medium risk according to that bollocks.

The question about chores and the opposite sex is laughable.
Since when did chores have a gender?
