*With acknowledgement to Bowl, who has raised this so often. Apologies if this is repeating a thread from the past (?): in any case, maybe it's time for another thread with this title.

Please, no wordy arguments about how sex can be changed by legal instrument around the world, just answer the question posed.

No. People can request to be called a gender other than the one assigned at birth, but this is not 'changing sex'.

In this country people can apply to be legally considered as s member of the opposite sex, subject to certain exceptions, but no-one can actually change sex.

No. Mammals can only have major changes when in the womb. After birth, that's it.

Some other animals are able to metamorphosis and adapt to their environment/ surroundings. However, these life forms are far removed from humans.
