Crowdfunder has told me that Transgender Trend's resource pack "does not break our terms and conditions" and its fundraiser will be reinstated. Big victory against trans lobby bullies.

That's a shame, hopefully schools will see sense and shred any copies they get

Thank goodness, they have been a huge support to me. Without them, and the feminists on here, I may not have held so firm and my child may well be on blockers now instead of returning to identifying as their biological sex.

Facts, reason and logic are very scary to those who bear a personal deficit of those attributes.

If you have read it, can you say specifically what it is you object to? Because I have read it and I can't see what anybody could possibly have a problem with.

Good. Even if not everyone agrees on their approach, it will be the right approach for some children.

Fox I think the stance of Transgender Trend, of waiting and watching and supporting but not encouraging to transition, is very common sense and is what the Tavistock also recomment. Isn't it?

Why should schools shred paper that recommends not rushing ahead?

I've read it, and it essentially says 'Be nice to children, don't rush them, and respect all those in your care. Remember that not all gender-questioning children are trans.'

If you have a problem with that, Fox, why?

If true, this is excellent news.

I have read it, and it's full of incorrect information and lies, it actively encourages schools to take steps that risk them falling foul of their legal duties and duty of care to pupils as well as statements like '“rapid onset gender dysphoria” and you catch it from websites like DeviantArt, Tumblr, and Reddit'.

Also their website links to people like Zucker who was removed from his position because he was offering gay and trans conversion therapy. Oh and links to Lily Maynard who openly States that allowing your child to transion is child abuse...

"verbatim quotes" - seem to definitely be what's lacking in the criticism I'e seen.

Just got an email from them confirming this. A common sense decision.

Fox. You need to look at the Tavistock guidelines for parents and professionals then see how the TT guide compares - it is very similar in its advice. And also protects the rights of children according to their biological sex.

And also a reminder that the Equalities Act protects gender reassignment, not gender identity, as reiterated by the response to the GRA consultation highlighted yesterday.
