GG said the same stuff again on Woman's Hour this week, she is saying bringing up things that happened 20 years ago is too late for a prosecution, and this will be the cause of it breaking down in court, which is an accurate reflection of the some historical offences cases.

She is exhorting women to act immediately, and not wait.

She also says it's devastating on the women that do act now or later because they get torn to pieces.

For those like me who are a bit dim, can you explain how knowing nice individual trans people has any relevance to the fact that getting rid of sex segregation will lead to vulnerable women being under greater threat from predatory, opportunistic men? Because I could have sworn that lots of people here have trans friends or have had contact with nice trans people or, heck, are trans themselves but are still fucking frightened rather concerned?

You do realise this isn't a debate about trans people at all? Not really. I've seen it written thousands of times on here that the vast majority of us would say trans people are free to live their lives as they want but we have a problem when men want to encroach on female spaces. That there are lovely individual trans people is irrelevent. I've only met nice trans people.
