Somebody suggested this on another thread - sorry can't remember who, but I thought it was a good idea.
So far I think I'm right in saying that:
Marks and Spencer don't have sex segregated changing rooms
Primark don't have sex segregated changing rooms
Next have got rid on their female toilets.
Have I got these right? Any others to add?

Wow, Primark? Last time I went in there, and bought some men's t-shirts for myself (cheaper don't you know!), I actually got told off for going into the men's changing rooms (no men about) and got told to go downstairs to the women's.

My, how times have changed.

But maybe, it was just because I was a female, trying to use the men's facilities, and not the other way around?

UpstartCrow · 26/04/2018 11:05

My local Primark have sex segregated changing rooms.

MsMcWoodle · 26/04/2018 11:07

Does anyone know for sure re Primark - I thought it came up when William Jaggs was on day release from prison. Could be wrong.
Another one - Top Shop - allowing men into girls changing rooms.

I think the Next thing turned out to not be true either. Was it not a misinterpreted photo?

If you’re going to create a list it probably needs to be on basis of stated policy ( so top shop and marks I think).

MsMcWoodle · 26/04/2018 11:08

Marks and Spencer definitely - I wrote to them to ask. Don't know where the hell to get my bras from now.

FairfaxAikman · 26/04/2018 11:22

@MsMcWoodle if you are bigger of Noel, Bravissimo. They'll actually fit you properly as well (it least based on my experience of M&S fitters)

Pratchet · 26/04/2018 11:23

Eresh thanks: Primark also for me then.

We have a Debs which I think is ok.

MsMcWoodle · 26/04/2018 11:24

Thanks Fairfax. Did you mean nork? If so, yes. I'll give them a try.

Theinconstantgardener · 26/04/2018 11:24

My local m and s still has sex segregated changing rooms

MsMcWoodle · 26/04/2018 11:26

Theinconstant - yes - but if a man says he's a woman then he is allowed in.

Lush for the ‘cis’ thing and the patronising ‘how to be a good ally’. Specifically US Lush, but I don’t believe UK Lush responded to any of the ‘what’s your position on this’ tweets.

(And UK Lush for their poor treatment of female shop floor staff)

FairfaxAikman · 26/04/2018 11:38

@MsMcWoodle yes Blush damn autocorrect

ShotsFired · 26/04/2018 11:50

Caledonian Sleeper where you might end up sleeping with a man even though you thought you booked same sex accomodation.

MsMcWoodle · 29/04/2018 12:31

Anyone know who sponsors Mermaids?

They get funding from the Dept. of Education & I think there something about Barclays Bank funding them on here recently. Probably others too.

SwearyGodPervert · 29/04/2018 13:25

Adding The Telegraph for their horrid, totally one sided article about the WPUK Oxford event. They failed to speak to anyone from WPUK or any attendees of the meeting, but wrote 700 odd words on what the protesters had to say. They used to be a decent paper, but now use shockingly bad journalism to cover important topics.

The challenge to Primark was made very recently... I think in the last fortnight. It may have got a bit overshadowed at the time by EH's data breach.

When we manfriday'd primark on oxford street they let us in but very reluctantly and the woman was clearly uncomfortable.

Topshop made us stay in the bit where the assistants could see in order to stop dodgy things happening out of sight.

Marks just let us in.

averylongtimeasSpartacus · 29/04/2018 19:18

When I and another "self identified " as men for ManFriday a few weeks ago in a midlands market town, Primark was the only shop who called security. We sailed in with our manly flowery tops, were told that the "ladies" was upstairs. We explained we identified as men, and in we went. A large security bloke was waiting when we emerged, who had been stopping anyone else going in.
We were also challenged in Marks, but the assistant backed off when we explained we were, despite the evidence of her eyes, men.
Top shop- we were totally ignored.

Angryresister · 30/04/2018 00:10

Great man Friday actions...
