LM has changed the name of their twitter account, deleted all previous posting history and unblocked lots of users.

Has tweeted (in response to someone else) that non-one has spoken to them about online behaviour.

LM did get in a twitter spat after comparing trans struggles to racism and slavery and got a lot of previous supporters complaining. LM did issue a twitter apology about this then took a twitter break and has resurfaced with this new "clean" account.

I would hope maybe a degree of self reflection.

As ever, let's make sure any posts are not offensive please.

It's not OK but I would hope that anyone searching for LM's tweets would see in passing a lot of comments from others about this massive deletion exercise. It's odd that some people seem to find it so difficult to understand that once something has been put on the internet it is almost impossible to erase it. Screenshots abound.

LM is very young, and has a lot to learn about life, and like a lot of the very young has limited insight into their limitations. I agree with those who say the Labour Party has been very, very stupid and rather negligent with LM's own mental health to put someone so young and thinskinned into a position where it was absolutely inevitable that they would get a lot of attention, much of it hostile and critical.

What does the acronym TGLWGH mean please?

Try googling “Lily Madigan Twitter” Gasp0de, you get a page of tweets that are deleted and a few old articles. If you don’t know what you’re looking for you just won’t find it. And I suspect people will just look at that and not dig any further.

They go low, we go high. Which means not getting personal and sticking to the debate. It's a Michelle Obama thing.

I am hoping that LM has been pulled in due to this and been told to stop calling people TERFs and to stop publishing people's personal data and linking it to the Labour Party.

Although i suspect it was the racism that was the final straw...

Lass it must be wonderful to not feel it's important that typically male crimes comitted by male people are reported as comitted by women, which I find highly offensive and incredibly worrying. I really wish we weren't being constantly gaslighted, then we wouldn't have to talk about it so much, and also wish we could talk about it without getting deleted.

I do think there are rather too many LM threads but seeing as they are using a platform within the LP which is supposed to be a woman's platform, to insult, doxx, and harm women and overall put women off the LP, it's right that we can talk about that.
There are only so many threads because they keep doing outrageous things. If they were onside with women there wouldn't be so many threads.

Regarding Terf Blocker Twitter accounts. I found out the other day that I am blocked by @TerfBlock after someone here linked to their account. Thing is, I have never ever tweeted, RTd or liked any tweet about trans issues, ever. I do however follow several gender critical feminists. So I can only assume that I'm on a list somewhere that is blocking followers of what they call 'Terfs'. My twitter account uses my real name. That I could be on a secret list somewhere, labelled as a 'Terf' and possibly end up doxxed simply because of who I follow on Twitter, is something I find very disturbing.

Wasn't that link just pointing to their front page which just says "you are blocked" to everyone? Did you actually see your name on the list?

I'm on the list. Not my real name because I didn't use it when I signed up to twitter. sashh smith is my alter ego, but they thought it was my IRL name and published it.

Yes. My boss follows me on twitter as we have known each other for 20 years.

She however is discrete. If we fell out she could well use this against me. For the only reason being that I have concerns about women and children.

I was blocked. I assume I was on the list. Is it possible to see a copy of the list? Isn’t it illegal to publish this information?

If they’ve published my name, I want to know. And I want to know if it’s legal to have done this.

Which is why they have been pulled. Don't worry you are probably on the LibDem list too...which is run by their equalities person.

yeah, I know I have engaged with the delightful LGBTQ lib dem account.

Showing them empathy basically guaranteed no reply to my tweet. they want a fight and nothing else.

SpringNowPlease2018, yes I do, and what has happened to her is shocking. However I fully expect it will come to nothing. The whole thing is frankly vexatious.

However even she admits that her posts were incredibly rude. I stopped following her for a while because I found the tone of her posts so distasteful.

(most of) these twitter accounts have real people at the other end. I find what Susie Green did to her child shocking. But Jackie Green and Susie Green are real people with real lives and should be treated as such.
