You can't block and ignore every constituent who questions you and as an MP it's kind of your job to give answers anyway.

Melamim, I do think this is such an important point. One of the lecturers at Goldsmith University - which is implicated heavily in this awfully privileged game of seeing how far a philosophical debate can be transacted into law - has reportedly made it their "life's work" to analyse 'value'.

I wondered what Julian Clary's view was in general and he seems terribly naive - I'm assuming he's pleasant as he always seems to have such nice manners ( mother in me speaking).

Anyway came across him being interviewed by Piers Morgan on GMTV, not my usual late night fun - and it looks as if it's something he tackles head on regularly - robustly and coherently calling it out - so maybe not everyone is as much in the dark as we think - as that's a pretty main stream programme for lots of people.

Piers was really going for the - what consequences of everyone living to accommodate small percentage - also watched few other interviews of his.

Lily/Liam needs a mentor. Someone who will be honest and not just agree with everything, and keep mentioning what a great inspiration etc.
They need guidance in their life, not just with trans but with everything. The latest tweets and the radio interview show that Lily/Liam is confused about a number of things.
I know this or similar was offered on Twitter and refused. Who knows maybe it's seen as a sign of failure to get support from another person, and they wouldn't be the first nor the last to refuse help/guidance.
Without proper support, it's easy to see how things could turn bad.Every part of what they do is discussed and mentioned again and again. Some of it is brutal, honest but brutal. I have even questioned some of the stuff posted.

I am no fan of Lily/Liam because of many reasons. But then I remember they are still 20. At 20 some of us did some daft things, just it wasn't there for the world to see. I look at the daft stuff my own dc's have said/done at that age, and again it's not all over the web for them to relive.
Yes, there's been many flounces when they have been caught again saying something. But this shows they don't have the skills to deal with what is being chucked at them. And sometimes running away seems easier. Just hope this time it will be longer than a day, and they will take a proper break.
I am using Lily/Liam, not to dead name, or to be transphobic or anything else. I just wonder if they know who they are anymore. Some young people are confused about their sexuality or want to fit in with a crowd etc. Like I said some, not all. Of course, many people know from an early age. It's just easy to get caught up with something.

It must be hard now to be a teen. Not only is everything on line, but now there are so many labels.
