It's gradually going up in my area and those around. No response to my FB share and post but when I encouraged folk to do the Scottish gender identity consult and gave my views only 1 person liked it but several said privately to me that they'd done it after seeing it so no likes doesn't mean people aren't thinking about it and approving silently

the SAGES fact sheet is good, and alerted me to the proposed change in protected characteristic from gender reassignment to gender identity
I don't think that has been sufficiently highlighted, it seems a legal minefield, I was thinking it was just that a GRC would be much easier to obtain and then the person would have the PC of gender reassignment, but gender identity without a GRC could mean anything.

Only 4 in mine too. I'm going to keep checking though!

However, I am concerned that the petition asks for women's views to be considered. We know what the word means, but many places are buying into the trans movement's fog, and interpreting it...flexibly. The way things are going, the government could consult TIMs and claim that they have consulted 'women'.

I'd rather the word female had been used.

I do agree that TIMs will just try and co-opt it because TRANSWOMAN ARE WOMAN.
However judging by social media there is an increase in TRAs trying to now say they actually female too and that science supports them. So I don’t think any wording would win here.
