That’s it really. Radical, Liberal ect.

I don't have a label for myself.

AssassinatedBeauty · 07/03/2018 17:25

What kind of feminist are you, out of interest?

Rottweilers · 07/03/2018 17:26

That’s fair. I’m curious about those who do put themselves into a ‘faction’ as it were.

@assassinatedbeauty I would say Radical.
I was introduced to feminism from a friend many years back now who classed herself as Liberal but everyone in the groups I was in very much seemed to centre around men’s feelings and everyone but women themselves. Maybe just a bad experience?

I just have a bull shit detector.

I think that's really about the sum of it.

I don't tend to like the word because its been corrupted.

Rottweilers · 07/03/2018 17:31

Red fair enough. A lot of people don’t like the term feminist, and use it as a insult.

HolgerDanske · 07/03/2018 17:39

I have rejected the title and all its related terminology, entirely. Sad, but it had to be done.

But those who have a need to label would call me Radfem or, if they’re particularly cultic, TERF.

Rottweilers · 07/03/2018 17:47

Holger, thank you !

I am a radical feminist. But I am aware that the wholesale structural change I dream of is not going to happen, and accept that the patriarchy will have to be deconstructed one time brick at a time.

nemno · 07/03/2018 17:53

A fucking furious one.

Rottweilers · 07/03/2018 18:09

Thanks B&R and love it nemno

I'm a guilty feminist Grin

MonochromeDog · 07/03/2018 18:12

Radical.

TERFragetteCity · 07/03/2018 18:12

Radical.

LangCleg · 07/03/2018 18:16

Radical

(Although I call it radfem-adjacent as my main priority is social class.)

HolgerDanske · 07/03/2018 18:18

Actually, leave off the ‘feminist’ bit and I’ll happily label myself a gender critical woman.

In other words I take great issue with anti-science, anti-fact, anti-woman transcult ideology, and I am 100% allied and aligned to the resistance to it. You might win a battle or two but we’re going to win the war.

Angryangryyoungwoman · 07/03/2018 18:18

Feminist. I think the word and meaning is sufficient in itself

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 07/03/2018 18:19

A female one.

Like red I have a BS detector. Against hard porn, prostition, abuse of women and self ID. Liberal generally.

Have a lovely husband and teenage sons and daughters who don't appear to think I'm a man hating lunatic

upsideup · 07/03/2018 18:21

If I had to label myself as one then I would definately be closer to a liberal feminist

SciFiFan2015 · 07/03/2018 18:24

Radical Marxist feminist. Down with patriarchy and down with capitalism. (I do partake in capitalism but have to. I try and be responsible/socialist in my participation of it)

I like to social enterprise and cooperative models for financial transactions.

DjunaBarnes · 07/03/2018 18:28

radical. furious. lesbian.

TERFousBreakdown · 07/03/2018 18:30

Just a feminist.

I've been equally influenced by my radfem mother, the anarcha idols of my youth and the corporate diversity feminism-light of my job.

Hellywelly10 · 07/03/2018 18:32

A tired overweight one.

LeCoqLazy · 07/03/2018 18:40

Radical and pushing for misandry.

SeaWitchly · 07/03/2018 18:40

I think I am a radfem and a TERF.
But otherwise I agree with PP who says they just basically have a finely honed BS detector... and I don't like being required to pretend that transwomen are women or even have exactly the same issues as women only with a heightened sense of victimhood and oppression.
