The application has been accepted. Apparently and LM will be studying politics despite only getting B's (LM's words) and the quick turn around considering the late application.

All that fantastic press coverage when lily doesn't get lily's own way. And the joy of organising all university spaces so lily doesn't take us to court. And looking forward to lily correcting all the tutors about everything because lily knows best. That would just fill me with a warm feeling of fuzzy contentment.

I wouldn't pop lily's application at the bottom of the pile with the relieved sigh of one dodging a bullet and look for some normal students instead. Not me.

Yes, Lily repeated year 13, then started a fashion degree in 2017 aged 19, and has now applied to study politics. I don't think that's a lie - although given all the other lies, skepticism is understandable.

Lots of young people change their minds about what they want to study. I don't think the 'picking' is about that. It's more about how difficult Lily is likely to make things for the politics lecturers. Lots of complaints about how trans issues aren't being centered and Lily's identity isn't being accorded sufficient respect, I suspect.
