I do think this will bring a fall of Momentum and the Trans movement. Labour, Lib Fems, LGB and transsexuals now needs to rebuild.

Like, if a gay man who was nearly 30 was asking kids who thought they might be gay to DM him so that he could offer them support, people would think that weird wouldn't they?

(really quite unfortunate way it's been phrased, too. I'm Terfy Terferson but even I wouldn't say "a transgender").

Just read an interview that said people mistook Bergdorf for a girl when he was young because of the way he walked and talked. And yet the same article starts talking about all the abuse he gets on the street for being trans. So when he was young and looked very much like a schoolboy, people thought he was female but now he's had surgery and taken hormones, people can tell he's male?

John McDonnell, the shadow chancellor, has suggested that Labour is reviewing the appointment of a transgender model as an adviser to the party.

Munroe Bergdorf, 31, apologised after The Times reported that she had labelled a Twitter follower a “hairy barren lesbian” and boasted that she wanted to “gay bash” a television star.

Get rid. Know a liability when you see a liability. Also have a look at that women's office who is doing the same shit.

What I get caught saying privately is in no way reflective of my views. I am just as insensitive, rude, sexist and homophobic now but I present it publicly in a different way by harping on about intersectionality so I look clever with no irony whatsoever.

I'm glad I grew up without my every fart needing documenting on line. But if Labour insist on hiring people whose usp is social media, then that person has to be accountable for their social media.

If you know there is something you tweeted in the past that you know to be offensive and you are remotely thinking about taking a public role, or a job sensitive to what you might have posted in the past on social media then, deleting it would be a wise move.

And you don't do that like Toby Young AFTER the fact, you do it, BEFORE you decide to make a name for yourself.

If you are making a name for yourself off the back of such comments then you absolutely should be hung out to dry for them.

Its not just that these people make the comments in the first place, its that they continue to have no shame nor responsibility for those messages which they have the ability to remove.
