And add to that the fact that giving birth to a child is one irreducibly female activity (regardless of how you then go on to raise that child, depending on your own personality and financial needs, whether by going out to work to add to the family's income or whether by staying at home with the child) - so of course a TRA would want to diminish that.

Mermaids is creating an awfully small box of acceptable womenhood for their DC to live in. I spend most of my time telling both my dd and ds not to be limited by gender expectations and to make the most of their lives.
For me this means sometimes I work, sometimes I am a SAHP, sometimes I study and sometimes I do a mixture of all three. I also travel, volunteer and use social media sometimes.

So I'm not middle class, am uni educted, am middle aged but don't look it, loads of piercings etc, I run a business and this weekend much as many I am working, hence why I'm in front of a computer, but I am going to cook chilli now, I may even talk to my husband at some point.
