Due to the fact that I have never actually had any contact with LM, and had only liked (or did the heart thing - I'm a bit Twitter illiterate) 2 comments on a Twitter feed (1 - very politely pointed out that LM has not actually spoken about a single women's issue since being in the role and 2 - pointed out, again politely, that LM seems to be more interested in trans issues than women's issues).. I'm going to assume it doesn't take much to be blocked by LM.

I have never posted anything derogatory or even commented on anything to do with LM On Twitter.

Have I managed to be no platformed without actually saying a word?

I’m blocked so DH has followed Lily so we can keep watching the horror as it unfolds. I’m tempted to see Lily’s Vagina Monologues this weekend just to see the batshittery. I can’t decide whether going and reporting back is worth the possible validation the people who cast Lily would get from selling tickets.

The more I look at the Labour Party and how it's treating women at the moment the more I question WTAF is going on and what their end goal is? They are alienating women, suspending women and completely ignoring abuse towards women from their party members. The mind boggles.

My advice to LM would be to get off Twitter and start doing the job they have been elected to do

She has taken several “breaks” from Twitter because the the “hounding”. They last about 24 hours then she’s right back to it.

LM hopes at some stage to become pregnant, as stated on Twitter fairly recently. Obviously this depends on scientists and doctors putting aside all other trivial concerns such as improving the standard of antenatal, obstetric and postnatal care for biological women so they can concentrate on ensuring that a tiny handful of deluded and entitled men can get womb transplants and extremely intensive antenatal support to see if a pregnancy could be carried to term. The mind boggles.

Lily may have made a bit of a mis-step as they posted a picture of Jez drinking from a mug marked ‘Blairite tears’ accompanied by the caption ‘my drink’ (I’m blocked too but thank you incognito browsing). Anyway a lot of Lily’s support comes from that wing of the party so we shall see whether some of that drops off.

Of course as people we get to choose whose opinions we take and who we ignore but the false admiration one sets up for themselves if they only surround themselves with adoring fans is unrealistic and damaging - imo of course! ;-)
