Due to the fact that I have never actually had any contact with LM, and had only liked (or did the heart thing - I'm a bit Twitter illiterate) 2 comments on a Twitter feed (1 - very politely pointed out that LM has not actually spoken about a single women's issue since being in the role and 2 - pointed out, again politely, that LM seems to be more interested in trans issues than women's issues).. I'm going to assume it doesn't take much to be blocked by LM.

I have never posted anything derogatory or even commented on anything to do with LM On Twitter.

Have I managed to be no platformed without actually saying a word?

I got blocked when I asked what LM was doing for women. I wonder if LM's blocked Jess Phillips yet?

I don't comment on L M - it's a car crash waiting to happen. The Labour Party should be utterly ashamed of itself.

It's an impossible choice: help the LP throw women under the bus by staying silent about LM? Or help the LP throw a troubled individual under the bus by drawing attention to that person's political shortcomings? Well played, TAs.

I agree with PPs, it's a bit like a car crash. I hope LM has some MH support because it looks like they are under a horrible amount of stress at the moment. Labour have been, and are continuing to be, incredibly irresponsible, in allowing such a young person with LM's history & issues, to take such a position. Whatever I think of LM personally or politically is irrelevant; everyone deserves the chance of good mental health.

Others hold a different opinion, and the fact is LM was elected to the position she holds on a mandate of, among other things, promoting the rights of transwomen.

I thought the role of women's officer was to recruit as many women to the party as possible.

The fact is that anyone who can read can plainly see that Madigan has an agenda.

All the blocking, language, crazy assertions like 'yes I can get pregnant, biology is irrelevant, and yes you're a cis woman, not a woman, I'm glad you agree', etc.

Your determination to skim the surface of the entire discourse, in order to fish out bits that you can lamely justify, exposes you.

You don't support women and your old-fashioned sexism undermines everything you say.

And the fact that you disengage as soon as women's argument becomes too tricky for you to dismantle, is unsurprising, tedious and I wish people would stop doing it.

Apparently LM has now been "living as a woman" for four years. But also , according to this article from 2016, he came out as transgender in Jan 2016

Now, my maths ain't great, but four years back from Feb 2018 is Feb 2014, not Jan 2016....

I think Madigan was 18 in 2016.

Lily is now denying he wrote that and claiming terfs edited the screenshots. There are a lot of them. He's claiming he's being bullied and taking a social media break.

Lily will stay off twitter for a grand total of two days until they realise they crave the attention and will be back saying they won’t be harassed by terfs...🙄

So I have been blocked. By asking what to do if someone misbehaves in a toilet (yes we are back at that again...) and you would try and kick that person out (so after misbehaving) and that person then screams bigot as he/she is abusing the self id law. What then? And I got blocked.
And I didn't even ask LM that, but someone else who stated everything would be fine and dandy with self id, no ine would ever abuse it etc etc.

And no one can alter Madigan's own post, only they can!

Unless they are suggesting that a couple of hundred feminists have all screenshotted it the same thing and then photoshopped it individually, and all come up with the same words.

My mind is simply boggling over that feed. The autism stuff. Speaking at the vagina monologues. All the rest. The shouting down of women then saying they're being bullied. I think the Labour Party have a serious duty of care issue over this person.
