Would love to see LM discuss the long standing issues affecting women and girls.
You know: sexual exploitation, rape, voyeurism, period poverty, patriarchal mindsets, sex slavery, childcare and maternity leave and care, childbirth choices& antenatal care, contraception and reproductive rights, domestic abuse, waspi women, gender pay gap, disparity of female representatives in politics(particularly mothers), female dominated low paid & highly pressurised jobs such as nursing, teaching and care work, reproductive cancers, the importance of cervical smears, cuts to women& children services, etc....
But according to LM & Co, feminism/feminine issues are intersectional and TIM issues are the same as women's, and their oppression is much more important, so discuss those first, not the world's oldest prejudice: misogyny.
Or is the lack of discussion from one of Labour's women's officers on feminine issues a signifier that LM in fact has no idea about the oppression actual biological females face?
What do I know though, I'm merely a wimmin, not Labour's pre-approved 'self-defining' women.
It's actual bollocks.
