Hi MNers!

Just first of all want to say this isn't going to be a goady thread or a place to slag anyone off of be abusive. Everyone can have an opinion and everyone's allowed to think that they like.

2nd, if your anti-trans or don't believe trans people should be alllwed to self ID or that they aren't the gender they say they are etc pls be respectful and don't post here. There are loads of threads about all kinds of discussions about being trans that you can post on and I think it would be fair if you didn't do that here. I Obviously can't prevent anyone but It would be nice for this space to be respected as trans friendly and not taken over for other reasons. If you don't agree just leave and post somewhere else instead of using this thread please!

That now said - I'm all for trans rights and I think trans men are men and transwomen are women. I don't know if many MNers feel the same but if you do say hi! Or if anyone is trans know that you have an ally in me Grin this thread can be for a chat or support or (friendly!) discussion. Or maybe I'm the only one here lol and I can just talk to myself...

So I'm not truly 'pro-trans'...even though I am trans.

Why do you believe that discussing these issues makes you anti-trans?

Which you obviously do as you won't respond to a single damn point on this thread.

If you showed the same open mindedness to actually listen to differences of opinion when reading as you have on this thread, then it's no wonder you are still clueless.

Admit it to yourself. You can't answer any of the points raised on here by intelligent, kind and articulate women can you? Because you know nothing apart from the soundbites you've been waggling your virtue at.

I mean my points about why I won't debate still stand - there are too many of you and the questions you want to know have great answers online that you could look up from people who do a better job than me explaining and if you really wanted to know the argumebts for things like self ID you could google and fine then in seconds. So I don't think you are good faith looking for real answers you're just waiting for me to say something so you can pounce and rip it apart. You don't want a debate you want more chances to say 'this is why you're wrong'. I don't have to engage with that even tho you all seem to think I'm somehow no platforming or stopping free speech just because I don't want to answer 500 aggressive questions! By the truth that we both know is you wouldn't listen and any answers I give will inflame you more. I really hoped this one thread could avoid this but that was naive and I'll know for the future. I'm going to bed now but please feel free to imagine that the reason I'm not responding any more is because I have no points to make and you've all crushed me into the ground with your logic and brilliance!!!

I’ve googled it and have never been able to find one but apparently you know of one so if you could post it here, that might be a start.

If you support self-id, presumably you know why you support it? You don't need to get into a debate with anyone or answer their questions. Just put forward why you support it, that's all.

You are doing an excellent job of peak transing any lurkers reading this thread op.

a) You can't even think of one belief you have that would stand up to any scrutiny. You won't even attempt it, because you know deep down it's twaddle.

b) You've ignored the concerns of the very people you are supposed to be an 'ally' of, even going so far as to roundaboutly suggest they aren't pro trans even though they are transwomen.

So you and all those AGP's you follow know more about how to be pro-trans...than actual transwomen.

I'm glad lurkers are being given this golden opportunity to see how the polite, reasoned discussion of women and transwomen is being shouted down as bigoted by a group of people who haven't a fucking clue.
