Lily Madigan and Aisling Musson are asking for 'screenshots and evidence of transphobic behaviour' so they can make Labour 'a truly safe space for all members regardless of their gender identity or lack thereof.' In other words, doxxing people so they can be thrown out of the party for gender-critical views.

The group write-up is:

A group formed to oppose the rising tide of Transphobia in the UK Labour Party and to seek to make the Party a truly safe space for all members regardless of their gender identity or lack thereof.

PLEASE READ THE PINNED POST

If you have screenshots and evidence of transphobic behaviour please put them in the google drive folder rather than offloading them straight into the group as it may otherwise be overwhelming and trans members should have the option to not have to look at upsetting comments.

Do not add anyone unless you are sure that they:

1. Are a member of the Labour Party
2. Believe the basis of gender is self-definition
3. Think that transphobia is grounds for expulsion from the party
4. Respect the autonomy of trans people to direct the fight against transphobia (I.e will not take decisions against the will of trans people)

If you are a trans and/or non binary person and you would like to be added to the secret group (trans/nb people only) please message lily madigan or aisling musson and we will add you.

Rules:

• No advocacy for violence, threats of violence of other illegal acts (quite apart from the morality of it, please do not get this group shut down)
• This is a not a discourse group. If you do not agree that transphobia is bad, that the Labour party has it and that we should fight it, this is not a group for you.
• Be respectful. As far as possible, please always be friendly, respectful and comradely and treat others as you would wish to be treated.

There are loads of TW are all over media and social media but I've never seen a blind TW. If it was a genuine thing, there would be some blind TW. I think it shows how strong AGP is in the TW community. Men who can't look in the mirror at their image done up in lingerie and makeup don't become TW.

I wonder if not being able to see clothes, hair, etc- visable signs of femaleness/maleness has a bearing on gender dysphoria too?

Which would cast doubt on the assertion that gender identity is innate.

and in all the years of appointments with doctors, surgeons, and clinicians, none said they had encountered or even heard of another blind transgender patient.

He was married, fathered children and claims to be a lesbian. So fits the profile of AGP.

I don't know the percentage of blind people in the general population, but if gender is innate, you would expect a representation amongst trans.

I can more easily understand a blind person transing due to AGP than gender dysphoria, tbh. Because it's not reliant on gender roles as such. It's sexual.

Morning all.

I'm here with a warning I'm afraid. Can't reveal my sources of course but suffice to say they're pretty reliable.

There are Labour staffers working in membership that are involved in the secret Facebook group and some of them are after women on Mumsnet (I guess to dox/add to their hitlist).

I have no idea how far they've gone already - as we know the list is now not in the public domain so we can't check - but this individual thought it only fair to warn us.

Bloody hell. There was already not a cat in hell's chance I would be joining Labour, but that is appalling. Surely grounds for gross misconduct?

Even if they aren't doing that, there is fear they will, which says a lot about broken trust.

I have multiple friends who're big fans of Corbyn and while I don't have strong feelings about him either way myself I do feel like, regardless of his level of involvement or not with this, it's happening on his watch and is thus his responsibility to put a stop to.
