Lily Madigan and Aisling Musson are asking for 'screenshots and evidence of transphobic behaviour' so they can make Labour 'a truly safe space for all members regardless of their gender identity or lack thereof.' In other words, doxxing people so they can be thrown out of the party for gender-critical views.

The group write-up is:

A group formed to oppose the rising tide of Transphobia in the UK Labour Party and to seek to make the Party a truly safe space for all members regardless of their gender identity or lack thereof.

PLEASE READ THE PINNED POST

If you have screenshots and evidence of transphobic behaviour please put them in the google drive folder rather than offloading them straight into the group as it may otherwise be overwhelming and trans members should have the option to not have to look at upsetting comments.

Do not add anyone unless you are sure that they:

1. Are a member of the Labour Party
2. Believe the basis of gender is self-definition
3. Think that transphobia is grounds for expulsion from the party
4. Respect the autonomy of trans people to direct the fight against transphobia (I.e will not take decisions against the will of trans people)

If you are a trans and/or non binary person and you would like to be added to the secret group (trans/nb people only) please message lily madigan or aisling musson and we will add you.

Rules:

• No advocacy for violence, threats of violence of other illegal acts (quite apart from the morality of it, please do not get this group shut down)
• This is a not a discourse group. If you do not agree that transphobia is bad, that the Labour party has it and that we should fight it, this is not a group for you.
• Be respectful. As far as possible, please always be friendly, respectful and comradely and treat others as you would wish to be treated.

I have managed to get DH to understand the issue. He's a progressive type and all his friends are progressive types.

He's started telling some of his male friends about the shit going on.

Male jaws have been rather slack as a result. No one has much of a clue about what is happening already or the implications or that its got nothing to do with being transphobic (indeed it will harm many in the trans community).

Making this a problem about their wives and children has an interesting effect. As does pointing out this insane suspension of reality and how this is becoming more and more mainstream in politics as a whole, not just women's v trans rights.

Just been talking to a friend who is distraught. An anonymous email has been sent to her employer and CLP. Screenshots of her Twitter, demanding she be sacked and expelled from Labour Party.

Her employer as well as the CLP?! What the actual fuck. These horrible little shits are being a lot worse than I expected. Though not sure why I am surprised. I would be reporting that to the police, its harassment and we know exactly who it was too.

I hope her employer was understanding. I swear if they wrote to any of my employers with this rubbish they would have been getting told where to get off. If they contact DHs employer when we can afford to donate in his name also they will definitely be told to fuck off. His employer is luckily his father, and not signed up to transcult way of thinking anyway.

Well done Hammer and everyone else. I’m only a very beginner and learning about all this, compared to all you clever lot. Like many I believe TIM can do whatever they like, great good for them. But some rules and law are needed by Sex and need sorting out not just left open and become unusable.

As someone who has endured male violence that link about Fallon Fox made me cry. I saw a twitter thread just tonight where a woman was first questioning a picture of NZ transgender weightlifter Laurel Hubbard, asking if that was a 'man in disguise' but on reading that it was indeed a transwoman, accepted that person totally as a woman. Wonder if she ever read that Hubbard won the weight division by 19kg, and at nearly 40 years old. Twitter is full of people, men and women, celebrating these kinds of victories in women's sports.

Brief delurk. I read these threads a lot and am fully peak trans. I am not a Labour supporter but I donated to the JJ campaign. I am gobsmacked at what is going on and the sheer arrogance of the TRAs. I fear they have lost sight of anything except beating the TERFs no matter what the cost or fallout.
